You would not believe the amount of meeting time that was devoted to safeguarding, the head spinning number of updates to guidelines...
The worst that ever happened was the occasional DIP (dad in pants
) in the background somewhere but we were super conscious of potential issues.
Saw this saga on Twitter - it's absolutely horrifying. Reminds me of the inquiry that found that Aimee C was basically completely incapable of understanding safeguarding - that level of, at absolute best, terminal naïveté.
& once you consider the 'plants' it's too calculated to be naive.
We definitely need a bat signal for the Baroness, I reckon.
