I've just joined on the strenght of these 2 candidates. First time in my life I've been motivated to join a political party. I was literally just saying to my mum a few days ago that there was almost nothing the greens could do to win back my vote - but here they are. Let's get these two elected, then we can trash out the details later. Even though the greens will never get elected, but if one party takes a brave and principled stance on this it may give other the courage to do the same. We need high profile people on board with this. We need a critical mass of people not afraid to say the emperor has no clothes, so others can feel safe doing the same.

Maybe this has been mentioned but I was on twitter earlier and there are several Green Party members who fail to come up with the definition of women/woman when asked. I wouldn’t rush to be joining them just yet.

Sorry just finished reading thread and realised you will join to be able to vote for the people that are sensible so ignore me!
