GOOD

Glad to see the courts putting safeguarding children ahead of this paedophile’s belief he should be free to contact minors with impunity.

But he opposite decision would have been absolutely catastrophic for children’s human rights, and I am very, very relieved it didn’t go that way.

That was never going to happen.

I have finally trawled the judgment and there's a lot of nuance which explains why it got so far.

Great. Good to hear. And thanks for the link.

But I’m still not sure what the point you’re arguing is. Would you in fact have liked the decision to go the other way, or do you agree that this was the only reasonable and just outcome in this case? I’m not being goady here or trying to put words into your mouth. I honestly don’t know what your view is.

I think one of the ways the internet has changed society and individuals is the increase in interest in paedophilia.
I think it was always there, in a misogynistic society that cant accept women, paedophilia is always going to exist.
But the internet with limitless porn has created a massive market for child abuse, and pornographers must be aware of that. Many big porn producers must be chomping at the bit to make money exploiting that market, espicially when so much porn is now free.
I am sure some of the ample funding for gender idology, whos core tenent is breaking down boundaries, espicially around sex, is coming from organisations like mind geek who make a fortune from exploiting women and children.
I am not worried about vigilante groups if it dampens demand for child abuse. Good as far as Im concerned.
Also I think there is a lot of class prejudice, these groups are working class run (working class people rightly identify it is their kids who are going to be disproportinatly the victims of comercialised child abuse) and middle class people really struggle with that.
