Two deletions now! In case anyone was wondering what I said that was so controversial, I talked about by DH's concern about that company who advocate unnecessary medical treatment of children and its effect in leading him to the mountaintop view on these issues. And it looks like the phrase, which I learnt on Mumsnet, is now out of bounds. Happy to get more creative with my language!

And then how he's now working through our Tesco accounts with various arms of their business and deleting them. Two accounts down already, and currently on the phone to another.

Why has that phrase been put in the sin bin? Wtf??

Perhaps it leads the to unsuspecting posters googling an unknown phrase and stumbling across something that leads them along the same path?

How do I ask Mumsnet Towers the reason for the deletions? I've only just started to post etc after long time lurking so I'm not sure how to do it!

Report the relevant post and as nicely on the report screen.

@Distractable I clicked 'report' on my post which was deleted and asked for an explanation. I also made them aware that this thread has been screenshotted on twitter and posters are being subjected to 'TERF' style abuse. These two events may not be unconnected...

Just scrolling through threads and I notice that someone else has used that phrase that I think led to my deletions. Just this morning! Looking forward to my response from the mods now.

It may not be the actual phrase itself, MNHQ have a very strange moderation policy.
Post reported? Delete, no questions asked, on the grounds that someone Has Been Offended.
Whether it's objectively, deliberately offensive doesn't seem to be a factor at all.

sorry just leaping in here - have you tried Iceland? total life saver for me when Asda failed big time. They do do fresh stuff, choice is limited, one kind of tinned tomato one kind of ground coffee but that has its freedom. And the frozen fish is marvellous. (And I know that a post about food deliveries is a ridiculous thing to make me join Mumsnet which I've held off as I don't have any children but I've been really impressed by your boards here - on twitter same handle)
