Twitter - JKR 'likes' disappearing

Just a heads up, if you're on Twitter sporadically or just to give a like to JKR or people who have supported her, go back and check if any of your likes have disappeared and like them again. Mine disappear regularly, including Ickabog tweets I liked that just so happen to be of the same date that JKR tweeted about something else.

I'm not going to speculate about how or why these likes are disappearing. I don't think I'm the only person it's happening to.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist either, nettie. I never really went on Twitter much but I feel liking tweets and following people is doing what I can. It's a very depressing place but it's eye opening in other ways and I'm learning lots from reading discussions between feminists.

All my likes have been disappearing for months and my retweets even of the replies to JK Rowling's tweet from people I follow.

Censorship in action again which was why I got involved in all this campaigning in the first place. Reminds me of is it the Running man the Arnold Schwarzenegger film where they completely edit what happens to make it look as though he's a bad person when he's a good person?

I read TRM when I was a young teenager, and I'm not sure it was even a great book, but I feel like I'm living in it more and more.

I just looked up Buck Angel after seeing him mentioned in another thread. (A trans man that agrees with JK Rowling)

Some of his followers have informed him that their likes of his tweets have disappeared too. Coincidence?

Going off google and Reddit it looks like it’s been happening for years. Twitter sounds person said it was a bug. It’s not hard to imagine that some one could create a ‘bug’ that targets well known GC posters.

My JKR likes are staying put, but every single day I go back to @ZubyMusic on twitter and re-like his "women's weightlifting record" tweet. Every flipping day the 'like' disappears again! Truly ridiculous.
