Wow. They tipped their hand! Yes, this is def a misogynistic movement led by hetero men & predators who want access to women's & girl's spaces & bodies. Their supporters are the true believers who think they are protecting a vulnerable minority.
Since I don't watch the news & try to stay away from social media for my own mental health, I had no idea all this was going on until recently. I honestly feel like I've woken up in some bizarre cross between 1984, Animal Farm & The Twilight Zone.
There are actual transexuals who are speaking out against all this "gender" ideology. Miranda Yardley is a trans person who says this ideology is misogynistic & homophobic to the core. These are transwomen, who had actual gender dysphoria & transitioned, who still use "he" & say they will not deny biological reality or mock women & call what is happening with transitioning children child abuse. But these people are not interviewed in the media or consulted by corporations or schools or given any platform & they are also attacked by the TRA mob.
The meteoric rise in the number of teenage girls being directed toward transitioning, esp. in contrast to boys transitioning, is another sign of the misogyny in this cult. Gender non-conforming boys, instead of being accepted as a boy who likes pink or would rather play house than catch, are told they are really a girl & need to mutilate their bodies to be happy & accepted in society. This has been happening long enough that we've had a sizable number of vocal female DETRANSITIONERS & desistors. Most often these girls were lesbians who were manipulated into transitioning by peers, social media (esp. Tumblr & YouTube), clinicians evaluating them, & parents who preferred their child transition than be attracted to the same sex. Often these girls have taken hormones that have permanently affected their bodies, and some have had mastectomies. It's really horrible.
All this has led to some unexpected alliances. The Heritage Foundation hosted a panel on "The Equality Act: Concerns from the Left" w/ 4 women from the radical feminist organization Women's Liberation Front. The 2 organizations also partnered w/ some other orgs to develop a booklet for parents on how to protect their kids (esp. daughters) from being influenced by people trying to convince them they must really be a boy inside just b/c of how they like to dress or b/c they like "boy's" activities.
There is also an LGB Alliance in the UK that is working toward removing LGB support and affiliation from organizations like Stonewall that have been taken over by the trans ideology cult, to the point where they are actually advocating for violating the rights, health, well-being, & bodies of lesbians! These organizations have to be doing it for the big money that is funding this cult, which is disgusting. I'd rather see them close their doors forever than continue to promote this indoctrination & policies that are harming women, LGB people, children (esp. autistic children), intersex people (whose medical conditions are also being USED by TRAs as evidence of biological transgenderism) and actual transexuals! I expressed my relief at discovering the LGB Alliance on Twitter & they contacted me by DM saying that a number of LGB people in the U.S. have contacted them about starting something here, & said to email them if I wanted to be a part of that.
I will be so relieved if I can actually get plugged in w/ LGB people here in the States. I know most people aren't paying attention. I've talked to 2 friends locally (one lesbian & one hetero woman) & both were shocked & wanted to know more. I've created a playlist called "Trans ideology vs. women & children" on YT, and I've found that the best way to talk to them is to watch the videos together via Skype, Zoom, or Google Hangouts, so I can pause it and make commentary. Anyway, I just hope there is someone here in Columbus, OH, who would like to talk strategy for addressing these issues & maybe meet in person. One person will just get berated, or worse, but if we can raise awareness & build support offline, we might get some clout. I'm not at all hesitant to lobby at the Statehouse, or at the local offices of my U.S. Senators & Rep., or City Council member's offices. I just can't do it all alone.
Sorry so long, but I thought you guys could use some signs of hope. People ARE starting to fight this monster. We just need to keep working to educate people about how this "trans" (whatever that means now) "rights" (which apparently means the "right" to do anything they please & never be questioned, no matter how much it violates the rights, safety, & well-being of women & children) religion is not about civil rights or equal protection under the law. It's about "trans" "rights" OVER ALL ELSE. It's about controlling speech, violating women's spaces & bodies, protecting "trans" people's feelings at all cost, & manipulating the public under the guise of "rights" & not wanting to be a "bigot". You'd really have to be drinking the kool-aid to know what I know & still support this.
