Via Google, all the main charities, etc etc etc.

Am slightly worried it'll have an effect - hoping if they could spot a gamed consultation they'll spot this?Confused

I'd be amazed to learn that Kemi Badenoch is woke at all. She did quite a frank interview with the Conservative Home website a little while ago and it was very clear that she knows full well, as a new mother, just how many obstacles women have to overcome because of biology.

TedsFederationRep · 30/06/2020 21:10

Actually, same applies to Elizabeth Berridge. She came out very firmly in favour of the sex based rights of women and girls a little while ago, as reported in the Telegraph.

McDuffy · 30/06/2020 21:22

It's so American in its language... and misspells Boris Johnson as "Johnston" FFS
I've gone through the link, taken 45 mins to totally rewrite it and then copied it out and sent via my real-person email to Liz Truss's parliamentary email address. I feel great now, so cathartic!

nauticant · 30/06/2020 21:48

It's no great loss if I sent an email to a woke politician. My motivation is that if politicians involved in the decision making are getting spammed with loads of identical trans activist emails, a real email might be noticeable.

Vinosaurus · 30/06/2020 21:50

Badenoch isn't woke - I'm not a fan of her (she's my MP) but I can't accuse her of that.

Impatiens · 30/06/2020 22:59

Really enjoyed re-writing that email! You can also report Google's campaign (to Google!) if you go right to the bottom of the email page.

Conniving, tax-dodging, misogynist bastards.

Yorkshirelass04 · 30/06/2020 23:04

I'd like to write to my MP about the concerns I have about the demands of the trans agenda and their methods.

What should I be asking for specifically? Mine is a labour MP. Sorry I don't normally do this sort of thing.

noraclavicle · 30/06/2020 23:14

I used to work with Google even before they had a UK office. My well-paid career was bound up with them, but I felt utterly compromised. They have been arrogant, unaccountable and unethical from the very outset. Back in 2005 they wouldn’t even give their female UK MD more than statutory maternity pay, despite making enormous amounts going public. I got out of the industry I was in to get away from these f**rs, retrain and restart and now earn a fraction what I did before, but by God I’m glad I did it. Bastards.

TedsFederationRep · 01/07/2020 06:45

@Yorkshirelass04

If you have a look at this thread, there are some good ideas in there. I am encouraging everyone to write to their MP. It doesn't matter whether the MP is Conservative or Labour or any other party. It doesn't matter if they are woke or not. What matters is letting them know your views. They will not then be able to claim in the HoC that none of their constituents have ever raised concerns about Self ID or the experimental medicalisation of children or that single sex spaces are important to women and girls. Or worse, that the only correspondence they have received is the TRA spam massively in favour.

WRITE TO YOUR MP www.mumsnet.com/Talk/womens_rights/3940451-WRITE-TO-YOUR-MP

Yorkshirelass04 · 01/07/2020 08:31

@TedsFederationRep thank you! I will get onto it today.

I also want to highlight the abuse JK has faced for questioning elements of policy and thinking and the acceptance of abuse towards women who question the trans agenda e.g www.terfisaslur.com

ChattyLion · 01/07/2020 08:38

Writing to our own MPs and copying in Ministers and vice versa, in our own concise words, is one of the best things we can possibly do to be active on this. They make the law.

purpleboy · 01/07/2020 08:43

Who else should we be writing to?

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 01/07/2020 09:00

Love how the template for a campaign to erase women's rights refers to the MP you're contacting as male Hmm

Milotic · 01/07/2020 09:32

I’ve said it before but Dominic Cummings loves a focus group, the Tories won’t be swayed by a full post bag from mainly young mainly Labour people who they know wouldn’t vote for them if the only other option on the ballot was Hitler.

Speak for the rest of them. Always voted labour.
Will absolutely vote tory and at present I think they're the only party who will say no to self ID.

eleventy3isthemagicnumber · 01/07/2020 09:34

Sorry if I've missed this, but how do we know Google is endorsing this?

SunsetBeetch · 01/07/2020 09:50

They tweeted this:

"🏳️‍⚧️Show your support for the Trans community during Pride month by signing this letter t.co/SEOZgxWoYF #TrusstMe"

twitter.com/GoogleUK/status/1273556835421880320?s=19

JemimaShore · 01/07/2020 09:56

I did as Sarah Phillimore suggested on twitter - swapped out trans rights for WOMEN'S RIGHTS - said that I hoped they would fulfil their promise to protect women's single-sex spaces - and questioned whether Google should be trying to influence UK politics.

And I did it in my own name and email address, because I'm just not scared anymore. I used to be scared of the TRA, and now I'm not.

eleventy3isthemagicnumber · 01/07/2020 11:46

That's outrageous. Can we complain about this? Is it normal for US Corporations to so obviously try to influence UK government policy? Surely that's not OK?

Divoc2020 · 01/07/2020 11:51

I'm not convinced that replacing the words in their template is a good idea?

I doubt they will read them all, but will simply report then as X,000 responses in support.

Use the template for structure, but better to cut and paste your text into an email directly to Liz Truss/ your MP I think?

JemimaShore · 01/07/2020 12:20

Yeah I've done that too.

But all it is, is a email template - you can change the title though, so they'll see it's in support of women's rights.

Plus I'm sure I read somewhere that the govt doesn't accept mass e-mails of the same text.

SunsetBeetch · 04/07/2020 11:02

Just a heads up that Gnedered Intelligence is now vetting vetting responses

Mass TRA spamming of Liz Truss
titchy · 04/07/2020 11:13

I'm not on Twitter but seriously.... can someone highlight that to Baroness Nicholson. Parliament is supposed to be impartial AngryAngry

Whatsnewpussyhat · 04/07/2020 11:46

Was coming to see is that had been posted yet. So bloody sinister. Vetting responses to remove those who disagree.

TheSingingKettle49 · 04/07/2020 12:33

In a way though it’s good, because if they thought their argument was rock solid and the other side were just bigots then they wouldn’t need to vet the responses. The government will be aware that this is what has happened, they already dismissed the consultation findings because a high number were from trans activists.

truthisarevolutionaryact · 04/07/2020 12:41

Gendered Intelligence hand in hand with yet another corporation / big business. They are busy aren't they in their desperation to eradicate women's identities and right?.
Funny how, no matter how many spineless companies capitulate to the trans bullying, more and more women and men are speaking out against the intimidation and shutting down of free speech.
