How long until the backlash do you think?

People on Twitter saying 'it's not that bad'..... 'I'm not sure that's the passage I'd give them'? What?

That passage makes me feel physically sick. My DS is 6. It literally makes me feel sick. Also the juxtaposition of 'I used to love oral' with the use of 'their you-know-whats' in the next sentence.

Fuck these people, fuck them trying to normalise this.

What choice do they have ender I mean most have backed themselves into a corner these days. They have blocked and threatened any woman who warned that the whole thing was being used as a cover. They now find themselves amongst all the tras unable to say anything and have to continue with the support or admit we were right all along.

nauticant · 23/06/2020 17:31

"In order not to be rejected by my peer group I have to withhold criticism of paedophilic material".

Trans activism seems to rot people's brain. Worst still, it makes them susceptible to accepting anything so long as the coating has the right flavour. Those people are a danger to children.

Goosefoot · 23/06/2020 18:40

I'd bet a the major difference between the letters of the important is that they go straight to someone who is important and has power in the company. Whereas a complaint by Jill Smith goes to some scabby twenty-something in the complaints department.

ScrimpshawTheSecond · 23/06/2020 18:47

Not only that, but if you don't explicitly chant the assigned mantras often enough, they'll call you out on it. Going quiet is seen as evidence of non-compliance.

I want to be the Baroness when I grow up.

She writes a helluva letter.

I'm not on Twitter; does anyone have a screenshot of Baroness Nicholson's letter please?

Carlottacoffee · 23/06/2020 19:38

@Enderthedragon

Munroe Bergdorf is encouraging their followers to complain to parliament about Baroness Nicholson.

The other day, The Baroness started a tweet with 'Dear Mr Bergdorf' eeeeeek! Can you imagine how that went down? Grin

Whaaaaaaaaat??? I’m going to see check her twitter out Grin
Michelleoftheresistance · 23/06/2020 19:47

Mummmmmmmy! Parliament! Reign in that uppity woman who participated in all that nationally recognised work on women and children's rights and keeps on maliciously and rudely defending women and children's rights! She won't shut up even though we have told her not to. The nerve!

nauticant · 23/06/2020 19:51

Does this work for you IWantT0BreakFree:

You don't need a twitter account to view twitter webpages.

DeRigueurMortis · 23/06/2020 20:07

I wonder what the relative average salaries of men/women/BAME are at Asda and senior representation?

Rather than use virtue marketing to their customers I'd respect them if they invested in a HR policy to address the the biggest imbalances that still exists in the workplace especially at a senior level.

Carlottacoffee · 23/06/2020 20:17

I’ve just been on the Baronesses twitter page. She rocks! I found the tweet although it was on MB wall. Also a video was on there of MG being torn apart on a BBC interview 😬

IWantT0BreakFree · 23/06/2020 20:23

Thanks for trying @nauticant but it doesn't open, just invites me to sign up to Twitter. I did have an account until recently but it wasn't doing me any good so I came off it.

Season6 · 23/06/2020 20:25

The backlash may well see Bns Nicholson thrown out of Parliament for harassment. I expect they have received 1000s of complaints.

I imagine they can recognise an orchestrated attack when they see one...

The backlash from Asda with drawing the book? I doubt it. Any sane person can see that wasn’t appropriate content for children.

I think it will highlight the movement that’s going on though.

Season6 · 23/06/2020 20:58

The backlash for “dead naming” Monroe B not Asda.

BringbackLang · 23/06/2020 21:18

I'm sure the HOL can recognise targeted harassment of a peer. Especially when encouraging it has been plastered all over social media.

Kit19 · 23/06/2020 21:21

hahahaha you dont know how the House of Lords works do you Season 6

you dont get thrown out because people dont like what you say

Kit19 · 23/06/2020 21:23

dead naming is not against the law and breaking the law is the only thing that would get the Baroness thrown out

nauticant · 23/06/2020 21:27

I would imagine that being successful in getting "Bns Nicholson thrown out of Parliament for harassment" would attract a great deal of attention wholly unsympathetic to the trans activist cause.

Have you seen the kinds of things members of the House of Lords have been able to get away with and still be secure in their places?

Season6 · 23/06/2020 21:28

What members of the HoL say in the House is protected by parliamentary privilege and can’t be challenged in the courts. What they say on Twitter is not so protected.

The House of Lords itself won’t investigate and judge complaints. That is for their independent Commissioner who is a pioneer of diversity issues.

Season6 · 23/06/2020 21:29

And breaking the law is not the only thing that will get her chucked out. Breaking the Code of the House will.

Kit19 · 23/06/2020 21:32

nothing the Baroness has done breaches that code
