For those who like their Ginger Shampoo, can I suggest MooGoo.

Also, Aveeno is a good replacement for their Shea butter.

Other thoughts welcome. Feel free to suggest other ideas.

I'm not personally affected because I don't buy anything from the Body Shop anyway. I actually think that was a very irresponsible tweet. On here we often condemn individuals for encouraging pile ons. It's actually worse using a business account. I read JKR's blog on the other thread and she is clearly very determined and prepared for the onslaught but the stuff that has been said to her is dreadful.

Haven't read the full thread but I was a very loyal early Body Shop customer (from early 80s onwards when I first had money of my own to spend). But they lost me when they moved to MLM. Same with Usborne Books. Both perfectly good brands but sales methods stink and should never have been touched with a barge pole. Management need to look long and hard at whoever they've appointed in charge of Sales.

Either way, I can imagine what their dim work experience kid was trying to do. Take the hormones, get the womb whipped out, stop them pesky biologically female periods and change your identity to Male with all the accompanying limitations (men don't have periods or babies ya know!). As for men becoming women? Whatever. Sodding well leave the women to the women's sports though. Being born Male gives a biological sporting advantage against real women. I don't even care if an ex-Male uses a bathroom for women as long as he has the bits of a girl now. However, self ID can piss off. You want access to female spaces? Prove you have a right to it. Do the treatments, change your lives entirely. Live every day as a female. Get the okay from the doctors and the therapists. But self ID (which can fuck right off!) means any bloke can say "I'm a woman!" And invade our space. Also, the fact is, no one should have to accept you. An ex-Male will never, ever be a real woman. It's just a fact. A new woman, perhaps, but not a real one and businesses should shut the hell up telling us how we should think. Shut up and sell your shit to us.
It's a shame because DD and myself loved Bodyshop products. Oddly enough, the men in our life don't. I guess they don't care they're pissing off their demographic.

I get my soaps, shampoo etc from a small women-run family firm called wild-sage.co.uk & they’re bloody brilliant.

Empress I met the owner in Hay-on-Wye where she had a stall. She was lovely and her products are lovely too.
I was going to place an order with the body shop too but I won’t now. Can’t be doing with any company who shits on women.
