I know its serious but cant help but make a feeble joke about maybe wearing masks aren't a priority for men.

Also it again points out that sex is a biological realilty and it is shameful that apparently statistics are not being collected on not just age but sex (and of course race).

And according to this thread they will never know because the much vaunted app which is supposed to help build a picture has lost its nerve and started asking for gender identity.

If scientists and doctors aren't even prepared to stand up for the biological reality of sex what hope is there? Angry

I very much doubt that they are measuring whether people seriously ill or dying from this who have testicles are trans, intersex, klinefelter, hypogonadic or testicular cancer survivors, because, let's face it, even taken together such people amount to a tiny proportion of the population and the vast majority of adults with testicles are phenotypically men and identify as such. Similarly the vast majority of adults without them are phenotyically women and identify as such.

And the fact is that the statistics clearly show that twice as many men are getting seriously ill and dying from this thing as women.

And so medical scientists and clinicians are trying to find out why.
