Posted his request about 5 minutes ago (or at least thats when I saw it) on twitter.

Im not even particularly anti trans, but when I see attempts to whip up mobs like that, I feel that hes making people anti trans.

Sort makes me want to resort to making insidious dog whistle anti trans rhetoric just to fuck with him.

Leaving his trans stance aside, going by the rest of his twitter offerings, hes definitely not the person I would want as a GP. Lacks decorum and gravitas.

Also agree re MN Premium here, if Justine had said does anyone want to kick in a fiver a month towards the costs of sorting out this kind of shit specifically targeted against MN, I bet the reaction would have been more positive.

I think that's why anyone thinking of contacting Arla to put forward a contrary view need to be brief and measured Michelleoftheresistance. If Arla can't understand Harrop & Co's point but feel that they're finding themselves in the middle of an incomprehensible bunfight they might think to back away irrespective of the merits of what's going on.

Nauticant. Thanks for posting that thread. It made me laugh. I am quite sure that any person who believes that anyone has the right to freely question any philosophy, concept or even a widely held belief to see if what they believe is still valid will read those and think ‘what is phobic here’? If saying that a male cannot change sex to be biologically a female still remains controversial in these pandemic times (and this has not been said to someone specifically) ... then I guess the majority of people needs a very intensive ‘re-education’ session or ... it points out that anyone who cannot deal with that biological fact needs intensive counseling to live in the real world.

I have seen so much worse on twitter every single day posted by TR As. I’d be bombarding Arla with those tweets if I could get on twitter.

The fact all the responses are measured, calm, and merely supportive of women's rights to privacy, is yet another own goal.

I'll never get it. The anger is so strong, it overpowers everything, including logic, rationality, and self-awareness.

They're not managing to come up with much are they. Women debating their safety and sex based rights enshrined in law, is NOT transphobia. I'm surprised Harrop isn't busy at work what with a Pandemic and all that. But no, he's back here yet again trying to harass women and get funding withdrawn from Mumsnet. And why is he doing that? Could it be because he hates women and can't bear them discussing their legal rights? 😉 I think Harrop needs investigating again by the GMC. I'm sure sustained harassment towards women is not part of his job description as a doctor.
