They make Veronica look ludicrous.

There are people keeping tabs on the person currently called Veronica Ivy and their various careers. Veronica has been getting on with Veronica's usual behaviour of claims, which are either true and mysteriously fall through at the last minute; or were completely made up to start with. I do not make any assertions either way. I merely observe here that many of the things Veronica says will happen do not happen.

This applies to their more controversial activities as well as their mundane day to day life.
