Laura Whitmore show is dedicated to IWD. Can’t listen. It will ruin my day.

Huh?

Topless for IWD?

Yes showing men your tits is very empowering.

Esp when led by a fetish model who is a trans woman and believes 'all women are a fantasy'.

How did we get here? Jesus Christ.

Hopefully the women getting their boobs out were elderly or something so it didn't pander to male gaze?

Dreamprincess · 08/03/2020 17:20

Topless for IWD?

Yes, weird isn't it? Feminists are asking for women only spaces, while, if you are an environmentalist, you have to bear your breasts on Waterloo Bridge. No wonder the transactivists are winning the argument at the moment.

Regarding male gaze, there is a male fetish for every type of breast.

Dreamprincess · 08/03/2020 17:22

Probably bare would have been better

FrogsFrogs · 08/03/2020 17:42

Certainly when I want to get taken seriously at work I show my tits to the men.

JessicaLangoustine · 08/03/2020 17:51

What is Munroe going to do when Munroe gets a bit older and saggier? I fear they will get a rude awakening as to the realities of being an older person. Lucky old them can just transform themselves again though, I guess (silver fox).

So sick of this shit. One fucking day to ourselves. Hear hear to "International Adult Human Female Day" teawamutu .

FrogsFrogs · 08/03/2020 18:00

It will be fine as Monroe is not treated as a woman.

Mockerswithnoknockers · 08/03/2020 18:10

To be fair, this was probably not a case of a young bright spark production assistant thinking, 'who shall we have on for IWD? ...Ooooh! I know!'

No. MB has representation. These B-Ark* parasites spend their days phoning around hawking their, quote, "Talent," unquote. They phone and phone and phone and phone. If you say yes, they stop phoning for a while.

These ones seem to have a stable of aspiring Y-listers it must take a hell of an effort to flog enough to pay the phone bill.

Heshehe · 08/03/2020 18:16

MB is already on record as having moaned about getting their breasts reduced because of back ache. I think the Facial Feminisation Surgery means that most of the underlying musculature isn’t connected as directly as it should be to the surface skin so the facial skin is eerily smooth and motionless. Same with Paris Lees. I don’t know if wrinkles could actually form? The camera loves them though.

testing987654321 · 08/03/2020 18:28

Certainly when I want to get taken seriously at work I show my tits to the men.

Dammit, why did nobody tell me? I always go for direct talking and wearing clothes. Must be where I am going wrong.

megletthesecond · 08/03/2020 18:29

Guess who was guest on IWD on radio 1 at 4pm? Another transwoman.

koshkatt · 08/03/2020 18:34

Bloody hell. Angry

JessicaLangoustine · 08/03/2020 18:41

Did anyone else clock Paris Lees in a Pantene commercial last night? Being held up as a woman who has had to battle in their life, I think. Along with the brilliant Katie Piper and Somalian boxer, Ramla Ali, who came to the UK as a child as a war refugee. Of course shampoo is not a female preserve, but this product and their message is firmly aimed at women. It annoyed me (perhaps unfairly), that Lees is being bracketed in with a woman who has undergone a hugely painful experience, not of her own making, and one who is breaking down barriers in sport/race/culture. Does Lees really compare themself to these remarkable women?

testing987654321 · 08/03/2020 18:42

I think it's like when someone says they are vegan and someone immediately has to state their love of meat. Men panic whenever they think women might be considered as important people.

Gibbonsgibbonsgibbons · 08/03/2020 18:43

Fuckers

Bananabixfloof · 08/03/2020 18:53

Have sent complaint thanks to pp giving the details.
I've given a throwaway email and fake name.
Just in case.

Dreamprincess · 08/03/2020 18:54

Does Lees really compare themself to these remarkable women?

No its male privilege (I am more important than ordinary women whatever their background) and money (I need money to live, so why not?)

Its the same in women's sports. If the women complain, they are transphobic, not being kind etc. but the transwoman will still win. If they keep quiet and compete, the transwoman will win. If they refuse to enter, the transwoman will win.

It seems at the moment whatever we do, transwomen - men - rule ok?
plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose

FrogsFrogs · 08/03/2020 18:56

They get transwomen on because like l old fashioned women are boring and not worth listening to.

Plus for things like IWD they go on about icky stuff that men don't like hearing.

FrogsFrogs · 08/03/2020 18:59

Lees was imprisoned for a violent assault weren't they, when young?

Things Street harassment is empowering and women/ girls who don't like it are prudes who are spoiling things for others.

That underage prostitution can be a positive experience for the underage person.

Good person to act as a role model for women and girls.

RubyViolet · 08/03/2020 19:01

I saw the Pantene advert and clocked PLees. When a trend is picked up by branding agencies for the likes of Pantene and Starbucks it is only a matter of time before the trend peaks and they move onto something else new and shiny. It’s that cynical.
This is last years unicorn... hopefully.

OP posts:
FrogsFrogs · 08/03/2020 19:06

Also how many women would choose to name themselves for sleaze as a play on words :/

datasgingercatspot · 08/03/2020 19:09

Does Lees really compare themself to these remarkable women?

They likely feel they are superior and women have much to learn for them.

FrogsFrogs · 08/03/2020 19:10

Well no sounds like pantene have, TBF.

Heshehe · 08/03/2020 19:21

Although to be fair. Paris Lees was a ‘rent boy’ at 14. I think we can all agree that that isn’t prostitution it’s child abuse. How that experience might have framed their future direction will probably be revealed in their up and coming memoir. But they were 16 when they seriously assaulted a man and got incarcerated. Lovely hair though.

R0wantrees · 08/03/2020 19:27

Lees was imprisoned for a violent assault weren't they, when young?

Paris Lees interview by Nick Robinson is worth listening to:
February 2018
"The journalist and transgender rights activist talks about growing up trans and why the way media debates trans issues makes her angry."

FrogsFrogs · 08/03/2020 19:28

Paris doesn't.

It's an awfully situation and they are processing it as best they can, I'm sure. But to state for public consumption that underage prostitution can be positive, in general, is not good at all.
