It was a very long thread stretching back to some point in January. I haven’t read all of it, but I joined in today when people were talking about Self ID, penises and changing rooms. Someone was of the opinion that women should deal with seeing penises in such areas because one expects to see naked people in that context. I said that I expect to see (and be seen by) women in the gym changing room and sauna, but I don’t expect or want to see males there. Someone replied: ‘Transwomen are women so that’s fine’. And that’s when I made that truthful terribly hateful statement. 🙄😬

I have been locked out twice this week and I've never even posted.
My crime: liking GC posts.

Ooh, bad luck! Twitter banning must be really random - I've apparently been mass reported and I regularly tweet stuff far more blunt than what you posted yet nothing's happened to me (so far). If there were consistent standards, logical criteria and transparent rules we'd all know where we stood, but there isn't and it's unfair.

Come sit by me. I refuse to delete a tweet that said noone with xy chromosomes, a prostate, testicles and a penis is female. My appeal has been 'under consideration' since December.

TRAs are on a mass reporting spree at the moment - they do it every time a high profile women's rights platform which highlights the issues of self iD - in this case I think it was the Moral Maze (as glinner said).

Twitter has been unbelievably draconian over their rules - so much so that a simple declaration of human biology ("but they aren't women" banned Meghan Murphy) and an explanation of UK rape law ("only men can commit rape") is ban-worthy.

It's been hugely captured by TRAs.

With so many bannings, it's amazing there's any gender criticals left on there - shows how our women' rights movement is growing. Puulllllll

I had a temporary ban for ages. Then, when I got back on, Twitter requested a phone no every time I logged in.

Can't be arsed now. I don't miss it.
