Feminism: Sex and gender discussions

Thank you to MN Feminist Thread

Having just become ‘woke’ to the feminist threads on MN this weekend and having lacked my normal dog walking women (weather-related) to discuss issues in real life thank you.

I asked a naive question and got some thought out considered and non- condescending answers.

I laughed out loud when someone said RLB is not qualified to look after the school hamster, never mind the country.

I don’t know whether I should laugh or cry when someone rightly said Cummings is the most likely person in any political party to prevent the erosion of women’s rights.

I have found my tribe.

Welcome. I know just how you feel, it's such a relief to find an online space that has the combined wisdom of legions of thoughtful women, who haven't all been banned and silenced. Yet.

Crazy isn't it? You can't unsee it once you've seen it...

I came for the pregnancy club in 2016 and stayed for FWR. Took me until Ocado to finally venture over here though Smile

I'd like to collect some anecdotes about when and why you first became involved in the debate about gender ideology and activism. I've also asked on Twitter but thought this might be good for longer answers.

Please tell me your stories!"

Women's stories very much worth reading!

I think that is true. Isn't it interesting that he isn't a politician? What does that say about modern politicos?

I was already well down the GC path but finding this forum has made me feel so much more optimistic and my beliefs have grown stronger with every post that I read. We have to hold the line and stand up for women because no-one else will.

We have to hold the line and stand up for women because no-one else will.

Women who can really need to stand up for vulnerable women who have no voice & who are being harmed by unsafe public policies.
