It'd be interesting to look at the gendering of the word 'kind'.

Seriously though. Hate crime isn't pointing out that sex isn't observed its material reality. So all the bollocks above is irrelevant. Sex is a protected characteristic under the equality act, yet not under hate crime law. That tells you all you need to know about how this hate crime stuff along biological lines affects women.
