I've been wondering if the delay is connected to Kate Scottow's case tomorrow.
So as not to influence it in any way? 🤷‍♀️

He's not doing anything daft that hints at the outcome is he? I know he's surrounded by lawyers who will be telling him it's embargoed but obviously there will be many eyes on him, many of them hostile.

Best prepare for the worst. Strapping myself into the handcart now.

Thing is, losing almost creates more publicity, more controversy.

Thank you MrsSnippy for the heads up. I think this judgement will be revelatory about the state of freedom of speech in the UK in the 21st century. Like many of us, I will be watching with a mixture of hope and dread.

Am I right in thinking the judge is the same judge who made some appalling sentencing remarks in the Natalie Connolly case?

You are right, FannyCann. However, he made much more encouraging remarks during Harry's trial, so I am still hopeful.

But Maya’s judge also made encouraging remarks. I think that was to try to seem open-minded, whereas his final judgement was appalling.
