I fear he is no friend of women. But he will, presumably, be aware of the outcry over the Natalie Connolly case and his remarks.
So he will be being extra careful to produce a judgement with no loopholes.
My best hope is that he won't like the police taking it upon themselves to interpret the law. That's a job for highly educated judges.
Remember the police defence guy said something disobliging about textbooks and the judge responded "I have written a textbook" (or two).
He will be torn between slapping down the police for overstepping the mark and slapping down women. Even though it's a case brought by a man.
