How do we organise?

Obviously I'm not suggesting this is a place for any sort of political activity. But I'm pretty stranded and posting on here is an echo chamber.

Have spoken to a few via other media and we are all in situations where we can't do anything publicly and we all feel
Isolated.

Have you been onto the feminist think tank thread? There's a Trello Board.

I feel pretty empowered from the voluntary work I do here and there.

There's a lot going on, behind closed doors

This thread might be worth a look if you want to find other women in your area and meet with them in real life to work on both public and behind the scenes actions.

This will sound pessimistic but I think things have the potential to get worse before they get better; a lot worse. So there may come a point in the future where you not speaking out publicly now will put you at an advantage.

Theinebriati I get where you are coming from.. I wasn't so much thinking about speaking out publicly (now) just having a space to have a face to face conversation without fear.

It's worth finding out if there's a resisters group nr you. They have a twitter account, and fb I think. Search for resisters UK and they will be able to tell you.
