There's a fake tweet doing the rounds where JK 'wrote' a homophobic comment. She didn't I would imagine, despite neglecting to include a single LGBT character in HP.

Terrible isn't it? What could be more normal than for a children's book to identify the sexual preferrences of every character? My daughter was very surprised that the tiger who came for tea took until page 9 before mentioning he likes cock.

Also, I'm just not sure what knowing that Hagrid was a pansexual demiboy would have really added to the reading experience for an 8 year old.

Am intrigued as to how she used the LGBT community for sales. And equally, how she has “turned on them” by tweeting a solitary tweet opining that she doesn’t feel sacking women for their views is a good thing.

I don't love everyone, but I accept that everyone has the right to live their lives as they see fit, providing that doesn't remove anyone elses rights.

But why would JKR being aware of biological reality mean that she doesn't accept anyone?

I don't think homoerotic love stories need to explicitly state their characters obvious sexuality.

I do think it's disappointing that the snake isn't some bloke with a beard who identifies as a snake. Missed opportunity for inclusion.
