Why is RuPaul being becompared to Hitler?

Carmen Carrera (the transwoman who made the comments) is not the sharpest tool in the shed. It’s really as simple as that

RuPaul has said in the past that drag is for gay men, not women (born women or trans) and certain factions of the LGBTQ community think this makes him the most despicable transphobe imaginable.

I don't know why a transgender person would enter Drag Race. To me transgender and drag are two completely separate things trans is trying to submerge oneself into identifying as the opposite sex while the other is a dramatised characrerture of what a female representation.

I watched the series when Gia Gunn was transitioning and I thought it was very irresponsible on the producers side as it must be very difficult to transition but also not have a realistic image of what you're transitioning to.

So what does RuPaul think of straight men doing drag, has he said anything?

@AutumnRose1 I don't know about ru's opinion, but one of the contestants on U.K. drag race was straight.

I think drag is different to gender: you can do drag and be a woman, both drag queen and drag king. Even trans men can be drag queens. One is what you are, one is what you do.

Saying that, I understand where ru is coming from when he says people with breasts etc are at an advantage but in the age of brilliant prosthetics I don't see that as a big advantage tbh

Indeed Bewilderness it seems that memories are short.

This woke faction (because I don't think everyone of a certain age is so ridiculous) demand to be protected from everything that may cause them to think, but at the same time hurl such deeply hurtful insults, threats and lies.

Ru Paul = Hitler? Bloody Hell! A harmless, more than usually successful, mildly witty drag queen is the same as a mass murdering, genocidal maniac? In fact, Ru would have found himself on the wrong side of Hitler very severely, very quickly.

Haha Tinkerbell! I'm a fan ....Have u watched Aj and the queen on Netflix? He says on there that drag is a job / a performance and that he likes being a man and does not want to be a woman.
It's very clear , where as transsexuals want to be a woman ( in this case). It seems very self explanatory..... like acting. Am actor might want to act a particular role , but not to actually become that person.

Maybe it’s because, although in my opinion, deeply misogynistic, gay men who do drag get to have their cake and eat it. They can dress up as women and then take it all off and still get to be gay men. It’s acceptable. They also look ‘good’ dressed as them sometimes. They don’t need to worry about passing as they know it’s outlandish and the audience know they are gay men.

I'm going to stick my neck out here and say that even Hitler, as bad as he was, never said he was a woman on Tuesdays and was to be called "Pips" but Addy the rest of the week.
