This morning (anti feminist) Youtuber Sargon of Akkad has posted this excellent interview with Posie: You don't have to agree with either of them on everything to appreciate the clear common sense and plain speaking in this video. He has a large platform.

Nearly 30k views in the 2 hours it's been up.

Gronky. Why the hmmm face? That's what Fae said during the interview.

theflushedzebra · 25/01/2020 23:40

DreamPrincess misheard what Fae said - it was a man - not feminists - who threatened to turn up on Fae's doorstep and "chop off their you-know-whats" - Fae then made a joke about it saying 'well, he's be a bit late.'

Gronky · 25/01/2020 23:42

Why the hmmm face? That's what Fae said during the interview.

I'm unclear on whether their violent actions or their being male excludes them from being feminists.

theflushedzebra · 25/01/2020 23:45

Of course being male excludes them from being feminists.

Gronky · 25/01/2020 23:46

theflushedzebra, thank you for clarifying.

Is this the same Jane Fae who advocates for extreme pornography?

Where the viewer is supposed to be in doubt as to whether the women have actually suffered real injury to breasts/anus/vagina?

And who wants to lower the legal age of the participants?

That jane Fae?

98K views now! Pretty impressive and I thought it was a really good, clear video. She didn’t actually say anything which was anything other than common sense
Well done Posie Flowers

“Well, we used to call them pedophiles,” is the stand-out quote from this interview for me. ( Posie describing people who advocate laws permitting children absolutely unrestricted bodily autonomy here). I am not very familiar with the interviewer, but this simple, honest statement certainly seemed to take him aback. It’s a very good point.

98k views in less than a day is remarkable. Which is a tad worrying, because Carl Benjamin is, by his own actions/words, a pretty nasty human being (IMO).

But Posie is having her voice heard on the issues of freedom of speech, and transitioning of children, and the definition of woman, by all those followers of Carl Benjamin, which can surely only be a good thing.

We really need MORE people to stand up in this debate - it can't just be left to the (wonderful) academic feminists like Kathleen Stock and Selina Todd. We need an approach that includes as many people as possible.

This is a good video, watching now.

I don't agree with everything that either of them say but I love watching these discussions
