Ah, okay, I finally see what he's saying.

He is saying that if you think the presence of a penis determines your sex, if a woman was born with one growing out of her back, by that logic she would be a man.

I think I'm going to file this in the same box as what would happen if you woke up in the body of a man tomorrow morning rubbish.

Has anyone, male or female, ever been born with a penis growing out of their back? Has any animal?

I think quite a few people have experienced a penis growing on their back, but not their own.

But surely, the woman with a magically conjured tail would be a woman who had made a great effort to make herself look like a mermaid and not an actual mermaid.

After all, she wouldnt be able to live/breathe underwater because she'd just have a fish's tail and not the biology of a mermaid.
