Given that I fit neatly under the Stonewall umbrella, and have a vagina, and was AFAB, yet think of myself as a woman, then clearly I am an AFAB TW.

Yeah but even the BBC has an article up today about 'helping transwomen be more feminine' but if Twitter was right TW are the most feminine of all the women so surely the BBC are being transphobic even having that article.

And it's not actually hard to get to. As my biological sex is female but I don't ascribe to gender, I am apparently agender. Stonewall says that's trans. Therefore I'm a trans woman born with a vagina.

The TWAW therefore all women are trans doesn't work so well because trans is supposed to be like being tall (formerly black, but they realised the optics weren't good there). So tall women are women but all women are tall doesn't work.

I'm totally on board with AFAB transwomen. We are even more oppressed than AMAB transwomen.

I am exhausted! Reading some posts takes so much mental gymnastics it IS exhausting -- the brain gets twisted into a pretzel and I end up thinking I'm just stupid.

From now on, I identify as a trans woman. Why does the trans community ignore trans women who were assigned female at birth? Why are we excluded from the trans community because we have a vagina? They are perpetuating genital fetishism and bioessentialism.

What do you think would happen if TWWAV demanded HRT, a neovagina, gender-affirming procedures?

Would TWWAV be upbraided for asking for medically unnecessary interventions? A couple might be deemed superfluous by the narrow minded but they might be very affirming (and, incidentally, be very close to what some women are currently denied).
