New have DMed you. Have to say I am a little bit anxious about tomorrow. I have had enough of men screaming at me.

HavelockVetinari · 31/01/2020 19:51

I'd love to go but can't, I've donated towards security etc. instead. Have a fab time all, make sure you report back!

ThinEndoftheWedge · 31/01/2020 19:52

Hope you all enjoy yourselves tomorrow.

I look forward to reading/watching all about it.

Strategies please!!!!

Ibloodylovewomen · 31/01/2020 19:54

Sorry, realised I sounded flippant about walking past the aggressive males tomorrow. They're a fucking disgrace, and I'm so angry that women are feeling afraid for their safety while meeting.

Dolorabelle · 31/01/2020 20:07

I'm preparing to hold my head high, smile at them, and maybe offer them chocolate buttons.

Maybe not the last bit - the chocolate buttons are all mine !

Cuntysnark · 31/01/2020 21:14

I have fashioned a bracelet from blue embroidery silk. It will be a beacon upon my wrist.

Becles · 31/01/2020 21:20

I'll have in my hair and round my wrist

Meercatsarecats · 31/01/2020 21:27

Good luck for tomorrow everyone who is going, I wish I could be there, unfortunately I'll be at work, with toilets 'for everyone' and a new maternity policy for 'expectant people' Confused

ChickenonaMug · 31/01/2020 21:30

Hope that you are all right midclegs

ContessaferJones · 31/01/2020 22:46

So blue ribbons is the sort-of MN marker? Excellent, I will sort out something that is approximately suitable Smile looking forward to it!

ArranUpsideDown · 31/01/2020 23:39

I've not sorted out anything MN-y

Likewise.

Bellevu · 01/02/2020 00:26

I've got some spare ribbons, so will be on the look out for mumsnetters wanting to be beribbonedGrin

MrsSnippyPants · 01/02/2020 06:42

Good morning all conference Mumsnetters!

I am nowhere near organised enough to have acquired ribbon, but it seems the organisers will give us sticky labels to write our Mumsnet names on, Twitter handles etc.

So do come and say hi, it’s going to be a good day Grin

KatieAlcock · 01/02/2020 06:57

I am about to head out for my train...

RhymesWithOrange · 01/02/2020 07:19

Hello, very late to the thread. I will be there. I don't have a ribbon but I will be wearing an orange top.

I've read a bit about the objections to WPUK's approach. I'm not a particularly learned feminist, I'm just grateful that there's a place where I can listen, learn, meet, contribute and then bring energy and ideas back home.

Hope everyone has a great day!

HeyBells · 01/02/2020 08:27

On the train. Looking forward to the day to meeting like-minded people irl. I have some ribbon ready.

KatieAlcock · 01/02/2020 08:29

I have not had coffee.
This may not go well.

Stuffofawesome · 01/02/2020 08:34

On my way. No ribbon but a blue scarf and an MN badge

RhymesWithOrange · 01/02/2020 08:47

I've arrived. Protesters have arrived.

Newuser123123 · 01/02/2020 09:02

Here all fine. Wearing a salmon top and jeans, come and say hello!

chilling19 · 01/02/2020 09:02

On way - thought there would be protesters 😬

Newuser123123 · 01/02/2020 09:10

It's fine. I've been in more intimidating playgroups

ContessaferJones · 01/02/2020 09:15

I'm en route on Tube - have got a braided blue and yellow bracelet (also serves neatly as an EU lament) Grin

Any coffee in there?

Cuntysnark · 01/02/2020 09:26

There’s coffee but only found decaf so far.

RhymesWithOrange · 01/02/2020 09:27

It's fine. I've been in more intimidating playgroups

Grin agreed.
