Test test

ArnoldWhatshisknickers · 15/12/2019 11:57

Deeply unsupportive, though not as unsupportive as the surrounding constituencies.

Really glad people here are opposed to trans ideology.

Arnoldthecat · 15/12/2019 11:58

I would not have a clue. How or why would i? It isnt listed on house particulars at EA and i dont think the LA collect data.

Needmoresleep · 15/12/2019 11:58

My constituency is one of the most 'supportive'.

Not surprised. I am aware of parents who have found it very hard to get support for a 'watchful waiting' approach. It is all affirmation.

ArnoldWhatshisknickers · 15/12/2019 12:00

Very noticeable that even the most supportive area only manages 52% support for teenagers making decisions about their 'gender identity'.

MangoesAreMyFavourite · 15/12/2019 12:01

Mine is not woke at all. But all forms still have gender when they mean sex.

HandsOffMyRights · 15/12/2019 12:05

How was this data obtained/measured?

BeyondVotesForFlube · 15/12/2019 12:35

In the 150-ish least supportive constituencies.

PorpentinaScamander · 15/12/2019 12:40

218th apparently. If im reading it correctly it appears to roughly match national average

ScrimshawTheSecond · 15/12/2019 12:46

But ... how many people even know what 'gender identity' means? It's not the same as sex.

I am increasingly thinking the most crucial thing needed is a clear and unambiguous definition of the term 'gender'.

Dolorabelle · 15/12/2019 12:48

Do you mean Transactivist friendly, or friendly towards individual transpeople just trying to deal with their lives?

Branleuse · 15/12/2019 12:48

mines almost 50/50

Huggybear16 · 15/12/2019 12:50

Ranked #427 most supportiveout of 632 constituencies

Birdsfoottrefoil · 15/12/2019 12:53

That meaningless question again.

ItsNearlyMorning · 15/12/2019 12:59

Not very by the look of things but then it's an affluent coastal town where people come to die.
Not my home town.
It's certainly not a feminist hive either.
I've found some like minded women and bizarrely my best friend here is an 85 year old man , who's wife passed away from cancer the month before I met him.
She was a strong woman, as was his mother and he's one of the most amazing feminist supporting men I've ever met.

Mine is listed in the top 15%. I do wonder how many people they polled from my area and where though, how broad was the demographic? The poll says that 21, 119 people were polled. I assume that’s a total for the whole shebang? Doesn’t seem that large a sample to me.

EmpressLesbianInChair · 15/12/2019 13:03

Does Bunbury have any views on this, does anyone know?

DeathByPuppy · 15/12/2019 13:03

I don’t live in a trendy place, btw, but it is a University town.

koshkat · 15/12/2019 13:04

Mine is split 50/50 it seems. I think if people actually understood what it all meant it would be strongly against.

koshkat · 15/12/2019 13:04

But we are 500+ in the rankings so that is at least a positive.

MIdgebabe · 15/12/2019 13:16

Relevance to feminist board?

Siameasy · 15/12/2019 13:17

Mine is strongly supportive of free speech! Yay.
Bottom 100 for supportive of gender identity
The question is vague, as is gender itself.
Quite a deprived constituency, strongly Tory and leave.

koshkat · 15/12/2019 13:18

Maybe have think about it and get back to us. Confused

BarbaraStrozzi · 15/12/2019 13:22

I was wondering that too, Empress. I think she would recommend being suitably vague about one's precise details if one were interested in preserving anonymity.

My constituency is, unsurprisingly, fairly Wiley woke. I'm somewhat taken aback that a result in the low 40s for being in favour of free speech puts it among the more "tolerant" areas of the country.

merrymouse · 15/12/2019 13:49

Why does anyone have to make a decision about their gender identity?
