I listened to this walking the dog the other day and it was absolutely brilliant. So clever and concise. I have so much love and respect for all the Joans and Joannas and Jos that go before and after me. We are picking up one another's threads and carrying on. We can never rest. For every piece of rights we gain, someone is busily working away to unpick it. We must keep on mending.

I think it's excellent it was on and am not surprised he read out that bit but if people are interested they'll listen to the whole thing. I've listened to stuff after POTW. Can't get that Smurf song out of my head now

Slight disappointment they chose a section which, whist powerful, was perhaps the 'easiest' and not remotely controversial. Strange, when the whole point of "Fact to Fiction" is to respond, through fiction, to an issue which is in the news right now, that neither the clip played, nor the comments about the piece, brought this out. If you only heard PotW, you might not see the link to current events.
