Enough said.
All I have to say about it is:
I don't have to date anyone I don't click with.
I don't have to give anyone an explanation.
I don't need to justify my decisions to anybody.
If I go on a date and don't like what's on offer I don't have to call them and explain anything.
I have free will and I will exercise that free will at all times.

Best to start a thread in Chat or AIBU that speaks in general about the difference between Lesbian women and Bi-sexual women.

Many here will have screenshot those other threads before they were gagged anyway.

So Anna is bi-sexual, not lesbian. Cool. That's how the Guardian should have reported it.

Tbf the Guardian never said she was a lesbian. Someone on Twitter (herself a lesbian) wrongly assumed it.

Yes dating for lesbians can be an utter shitshow, it is a real problem which deserves discussion in its own right.

But that has nothing to do with this young woman whose privacy should be respected.

And yes - the Guardian handled it badly but that doesn’t excuse people making incorrect assumptions.

Disgusting homophobia by the Guardian, a lesbian woman was set up on a date with a person that is not female. For those that may be hard of thinking, lesbian means same sex attracted. This woman is now frantically trying to defend her position because she's been accused of transphobia. She didn't want to have a relationship with a man, she's a woman that is sexually attracted to women, not men. Where's the transphobia there.

Haven't you seen this thread which has hundreds of posts?

butter the person concerned did not say she was a lesbian and neither did the Guardian. People incorrectly assumed it. There are cs, bi, pan and qeer women (using their own words) whose orientations should be respected - just as SSA should be.

PurpleHoodie · 29/11/2019 08:48

As butter says.

Lesbian = female female same sex attraction only.

I’m sure the Guardian gets potential blind daters to go through a checklist of hard limits before they set them up.
