The Bristol, Avon and Somerset police have a 'gender' hate crime strand. This is their way of trying to square the women and trans circle I suppose - we're all targeted for that thing we have in common whether we like it or not, 'gender'.
What we get of course is 'women can't have anything for themselves, party eleventy billion'.
Let's be generous, she obviously means misandry. And of course, women kill two men a week, police run festive campaigns aimed at men telling them how they can curtail their movements to avoid being raped by women, women constantly harrass men in the street, girls rape hundreds of boys each year in schools, so you can see why they need to record it.
Actually let's not be generous, I'm fucking fed up with attempts to 'educate' from people who are just thick. If you're going to push an ideology you don't really understand onto the public from a position of power, AT LEAST GET THE FUCKING WORDS RIGHT.
Recording misogynist incidents and misogyny-motivated crimes could have been something useful for women and girls - but just add this bollocks and it all becomes meaningless nonsense.
