Really important set of tweets from Fair Cop - first one here:

twitter.com/WeAreFairCop/status/1195287091657228289

  1. The College of Policing say in their skeleton argument that ‘Trans women are not women’ is NOT a political statement but is rather de facto evidence of Hate. As is implying that women do not have beards.
  1. The CoP also take the position that an enquiry into whether a rape committed by a transwoman should be entered as a Male or Female crime is also not a relevant political question but is also a de facto signifier of Hate.
  1. The CoP state that any criticism of the Meraids CEO in relation to the transing of her child is de facto evidence of Hate. As is questioning the policy of transitioning children.
  1. The CoP tell us that it is none of our goddam business where they get their training in gender and diversity from. Stonewall good, critics bad. End of.
  1. The CoP make it clear that criticism of transwomen in female sport is not a legitimate political position but is de facto evidence of hate.
  1. Meanwhile, @Humberbeat maintain that they can foresee no circumstances where a non crime crime report on a crime sheet would be disclosed in an enhanced dbs. Except, maybe, if you want to work in schools. Or with vulnerable people. So, no worries there, then.
  1. Finally, unapologetic ask for cash: we have an additional 25k to pay by Tuesday. Please go to our pinned tweet and share like hell.

I am beyond anger and into despair and weeping. Criticism of trans women in sport is a hate crime. What the actual FUCK?

Criticism of trans women in sport is a hate crime. What the actual FUCK?

Welcome to the future.

The next step obviously is working out what kind of punishment this hate crime needs, Maybe for people to be put in "re-education centers".

artisanparsnips · 15/11/2019 10:56

Apparently, in my friend's daughter's school, using the word transvestite is a hate offence. But all the sexism the boys throw at her isn't.

You're not allowed to link directly to their fundraiser Art you need to report the post and have it deleted or this thread will be taken down.

artisanparsnips · 15/11/2019 11:02

Thanks @Captain

Right I have reported my link to the crowdfunder, and also donated some money to them. I'm sure you're all able to go to their twitter timeline and work out the rest from there.

Here's a link to the faircop page.

Rachelsfatarse · 15/11/2019 11:08

Good grief. Will help to fill hole. Thanks for the link

ArnoldWhatshisknickers · 15/11/2019 11:09

This has to be some of the most ridiculous nonsense I have ever read in my life.

Criticising the mutilation of children is 'hateful'?

What the actual fucking fuck?

SonicVersusGynaephobia · 15/11/2019 11:10

Have also donated again.

My goodness. This cannot be lawful. It just can't be.

NonnyMouse1337 · 15/11/2019 11:13

This is really disturbing. Civilian rights are being stripped under everyone's noses. So many public bodies are behaving as if self-identification is law and enacting their own rules and decisions with no accountability to the public or respect for the democratic process.

All we have left is the judicial system. If that falls, we are well and truly fucked.

Hellmistress · 15/11/2019 11:25

This is what else Harry had to say: This is all taken from their skeleton arguments, which we received yesterday prior to next weeks Judicial Review. It is sinister and demonstrates that the police are acting as if Gender Recognition Reform has been adopted at law. We lose, we are all screwed

This is chilling! Since when have The College of Policing been making or interpreting the law?

artisanparsnips · 15/11/2019 11:27

They're not. Stonewall are.

OP posts:
MsMcWibble · 15/11/2019 11:31

They'd better get ready to imprison my Tory MP then. Here's a quote from her:
' I think in years to come back we will look back at those who have pushed this agenda and will have done untold harm to young people who will have had their lives ruined by not being allowed to take time over making a very difficult decision.'

BovaryX · 15/11/2019 11:32

This is absolutely bone chilling. It is truly frightening

BovaryX · 15/11/2019 11:34

This is what regulatory capture looks like

KatvonHostileExtremist · 15/11/2019 11:37

"If they lose we are all screwed"

I'll be filling the hole some more. I'm really worried by this.

Uncompromisingwoman · 15/11/2019 11:39

Unbelievable that the police are so certain of their ground that they can argue this. The power of this movement is unbelievable.

And yes BovaryX - this is regulatory capture in the extreme.

Hellmistress · 15/11/2019 11:40

I'm angry and afraid in equal parts. This absolute nonsense simply cannot pass. However, we know that the judiciary have already been captured. Bloody hell, it's almost time to take to the streets!

HandsOffMyRights · 15/11/2019 11:45

Have donated again.
This is so sinister. It is the stuff of nightmares.

85Yorkshire · 15/11/2019 11:50

Donated. .frightened

Needmoresleep · 15/11/2019 11:51

Donated again. Harry, Posie, Caro, Maya, Julia, Glinner, Venice, Linda Bellos and others, are so strong. I definitely would not agree with all of them on everything but defending their and my right to free speech is so important.

Thank you Harry and thank you to all our other champions.

jhuizinga · 15/11/2019 11:51

I've done some more digging. This is truly terrifying.

HumphreyCobblers · 15/11/2019 11:55

Have donated and shared.

MsMcWibble · 15/11/2019 12:01

I'm really hoping to get to court for the day. Hope lots of people turn up.

Uncompromisingwoman · 15/11/2019 12:17

We can see regulatory capture evident in that police response. But what about the judiciary? There is considerable evidence that the judiciary and legal profession have been targeted by the lobby groups from the getgo. What the impact of this might be on their thinking I dread to think.
