Clair is a Marxist tax lawyer, apparently. I'm not quite sure why Clair is giving evidence or what Clair's connection is to Maya's former employer.

What strikes me time and time again is that when TRAs are put on the spot and asked to defend their position, they can't. However senior they are in their profession, however well-educated, they cannot construct a compelling argument based on logic and evidence. They generally sound like sullen 12-year olds from the C set. The line about "creepy obsession with penises" no doubt goes down well with the children on Twitter, but I can't imagine it cuts much ice with a judge.

Anya Palmer, however, sounds like she's on fire.

Tax lawyers are really going down in my estimation. They ain't what they used to be.

He said to Kristina this morning that a transwomen with particular medical needs (eg to do with prostate) is just like any woman with particular medical needs.

So does this mean the judge thinks a prostate is a female organ if it's attached to a womanly gender soul? Seriously?! Sorry to put a downer on things but that sounds fully down the rabbit hole batshit TRA to me.

Exactly. This cannot be extended to everybody equally. There would have to be the service providers who accept and provide for those who construct reality, otherwise it can't work: and those service providers therefore can't be allowed to express their own reality - such as by rejecting the label 'c*s'. In fact it's regarded as rather wrong of them to not willingly embrace this or suggest there's a lack of equality involved. The word 'privilege' tends to come in here.

I'm confident the judge will determine the case, as he should, on the facts and the law.

He seems pretty grounded. In a recent case he ruled that 'leaving a witch’s hat on a female employee’s desk, in a predominantly male working environment, was an inherently sexist act'.
