The Standing for Women FB page says: This means it's completely evaporated, not just suspended.

Frankly, I'm not surprised -- she has been so bravely outspoken, especially as regads the transing of children, it had to happen sooner or later.
If I know Posie at all, she will find another way. She is not one to take silencing lying down.
I will miss her on Facebook. She did not hold back; so refreshingly direct, no euphemisms or beating around the bush.

I love Posie Parker. No shits given.

FreeBedForFlys · 13/11/2019 08:38

The Posie Parker Is Going To Hell page is run by someone called Gwendolyn who is clearly a man so of course that won’t be taken down.

BustedDreams · 13/11/2019 08:50

Wow 😮 I actually agree with Kellie-Jay. Only seen the clip @BoreOfWhabylon posted (intend to seek more).

On a similar vein, I myself find the term ‘cis’ as a pre fix to woman offensive. I was born female, grew up and the girl evolved into a woman. I’m proud to be a women. I choose to not recognise ‘cis’ as a pre fix. That preference should not deem me transphobic. Dialogue and so called free speech is turning into a murky minefield. No one person should have the power to say one persons opinion is more valid than the next.

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 13/11/2019 09:01

Welcome, Busted. I'm not "cis" either, I'm just a woman. I see no reason why I should redefine myself to suit other people's inability to accept the existence of human sexual dimorphism.

BustedDreams · 13/11/2019 09:08

Here here @TheProdigalKittensReturn. Just where has common sense gone.

BustedDreams · 13/11/2019 09:09

I’ve just found PP on insta. Following.

TiredofthisBS · 13/11/2019 09:26

I believe that she's also on Spinster

StoatofDisarray · 13/11/2019 09:26

Pfui. I think she's great. What a farce.

FilthyBiscuit · 13/11/2019 09:29

I’m so angry about this. All of it. Angry that women are being silenced for wanting to be safe, wanting children to be safe. What the fuck is going on?

OhHolyJesus · 13/11/2019 09:38

There is still the Standing for Women page on FB and she has a you tube so we can subscribe and follow her videos there.

I'm fuming about this but I'm also not surprised. PP has been telling and showing the truth to all and the TRAs don't like it and so FB doesn't like it.

I have commented on her posts before so I'm going to lay low on FB, they will be taking names.

Lamahaha · 13/11/2019 09:47

I'm on her friends page, in real identity mode, so me too.

Any idea why they took her down? What the excuse was?

DuckWillow · 13/11/2019 09:51

And yet Katie Hopkins still has a Twitter account and no doubt FB too. Strange times indeed.

Redshoeblueshoe · 13/11/2019 09:57

Bore that video makes me laugh, every single time.

PJsatMidday · 13/11/2019 09:58

Stop cooperating with companies that want to shut women up. Delete your accounts. Facebook needs you more than you need Facebook.

Or post PP's stuff on your accounts. Shutting down PP and branding her as a hateful outlier is one thing. Shutting down hundreds/thousands of women exercising their right to free speech is quite another. Facebook is under considerable pressure because of the lies they helped peddle in the run up to Trump's election. Put them under more pressure.

How did people organise themselves into groups before social media?

Littlelamp456 · 13/11/2019 09:58

Any idea why they took her down?
I saw on twitter that she shared that she hopes men are fatally allergic to embryos on a post about possible womb transplants for TW.

Not sure if people were just resurfacing old things though.

TirisfalPumpkin · 13/11/2019 10:03

As an atheist, I don’t think she’ll be too worried about going to hell.

I admire Posie greatly, because I don’t always agree with her. She doesn’t push her ideas through a filter of ‘is this ideologically compatible with feminism?’ or ‘is this going to piss off my followers’ - she just has her ideas.

The idea that you can only wholly agree with someone or cancel/write them off is really unhelpful.

Sillydoggy · 13/11/2019 10:12

In support of Posie.

This seems to have become common, most prominently over trans issues but it's not confined to that. How did that happen, and when?

TinselAngel · 13/11/2019 10:17

There was a long thread on Posie's Facebook in support of trans widows yesterday. Coincidence?

TinselAngel · 13/11/2019 10:37
MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 13/11/2019 10:40

I'm trying to speak out but I have my kids scrapbooks on fb and would be devastated if my account was disabled. This genuinely makes me fearful

TinselAngel · 13/11/2019 10:52

It will be sad if women comply with this message to shut up rather than take it as a signal they need to back stuff up they've put on Facebook.

Oh I've just come up with a slogan:

Back up don't shut up!

I was so looking forward to what she would have to say about Caitlyn Jenner on IACGMOOH.
