This might be considered a more medical term used to describe someone who has a romantic and/or sexual orientation towards someone of the same gender. The term ‘gay’ is now more generally used.

To be fair, I read that as an - albeit incoherent - dig at the arguments about political lesbianism that have been going on lately.

My theory is:

1. She is trying to be funny/mocking a lot of the time. Her sense of humour is so odd that it's hard to tell.

I think the ‘nazi/you want me dead’ person seems acutely mentally unwell tbh, and if so, only hope that those on Twitter who know them IRL recognise that and try to get help, rather than egging them on with all the T*RF rhetoric. They seem very vulnerable.

Hines - I’m flabbergasted by her blatant homophobia, it’s disgusting. I’m loathe to emulate the TRA tactics of reporting to employers, but surely her university cannot let it go uncommented upon, give she is tweeting openly in her own name and representing them.

I posted on the Mimmymum thread yesterday that I think Helen and Sally and all the other cheerleaders for Trans and Queer ideology are aware that their time of influence is running out and they face the reckoning. They're just letting rip on all fronts, even if by doing so they reveal themselves to be what we've known all along. They're desperate because they know they're rumbled. The game is up.

Once trans and queer and gender ideology are revealed to be irrational, misogynistic, homophobic, quasi-religious beliefs which can't stand up to rigorous academic scrutiny I imagine there will be people who've spent £27,000 studying sociology and gender studies at Prof Hines' institution who'll look for ways of getting their money back. People who will describe themselves as indoctrinated and Hines et al as abusive cult-type leaders. I bet Hines' university is already asking questions about her competence.
