The sticking point with self-ID seems to be that they demand the world play along with their delusion. They can call themselves whatever they choose, no one is stopping them, but they can't just demand access where it infringes on the rights of others. That's why they're pushing so hard with the TWAW and transphobia accusations for those who don't acquiesce because they feel it's a human right being denied to them. It is not.
I do find it ironic that such a big part of their movement is not putting people in conforming little boxes with labels but they are trying so hard to put themselves in the box labelled 'women'. You are not a woman. You are a transwoman. Celebrate it!
