I don't know how this passed me by, but transgender cricketer Maxine Blythin was awarded 2019 Kent Woman Player of the Year.
I have no words left to describe this situation, none at all.

Look. They said they transitioned at 19. If they hadn't hit puberty by 19 then here is something seriously wrong...

I made the statement "if a person has been through male puberty they shouldn't be playing women's sport.". Nothing about Blythin in particular (though I know which side I'd put money on if you forced me to make a bet).

I remember being excluded from sports teams for who I was - a kid not very good at sport.

Scared of the truth getting out. Fielding a MTF transsexual in a women’s team is just cheating.

Sorry- can someone clarify- this individual is still playing in both a male and female team- so is ID'ing as Male and Female, depending on which team they play for. Does pretty crap in a men's team whilst concurrently smashing it in a women's team, or has now quit the men's team to dominate the women's team?

Even though the definition of a transwoman is a biological male identifying as a woman and Blythin transitioned at 19, that doesn't mean they went through male puberty?

These people are properly crazy.

My son had indeed had his puberty and he's not even 19!

Even if he was to 'pause' everything now (he is mid-teens) I wouldn't fancy the chances of a girl or woman doing sports against him. I can see that his body muscle and fat ratios are just different to a female - he is just solid muscle and incredibly powerful.

Against women and girls he just has more punch and strength. even if he never got any large, he has a hell of an advantage. I was sporty at that age and I was skinny - not muscly or solid like heis now.

Of course Maxine has gone through male puberty. We know that the numbers of children on puberty blockers is very small, and a large proportion of them are female. Does Maxine, who is more than 6ft tall, look like they've missed puberty?

The cricket authorities are allowing these people to cheat in plain sight.
I say that, because as well as the whole physiology advantage, no adult male bodied person should be able to use the lighter ball, or play on a pitch with shorter boundaries. That is exactly like allowing one player to dope, whilst stopping the others from doing the same thing.

I'm off to play T-Ball then. I'm going to crush those little kids.
