Absolutely @LongLiveThePenis I love days like this Grin. Favourite time of the year (when not peeing it down).

spacepyramid · 29/11/2019 09:57

Excellent news, well done Centerparcs.

LangCleg · 29/11/2019 09:58

Is it half term week?

TiredofthisBS · 29/11/2019 10:02

Not as far as I'm aware Lang.

spacepyramid · 29/11/2019 10:03

CentreParcs aren't daft. They know their market is families and they know human males in with girls and women changing will go down like a cold cup of sick.

I'm confused by this, I thought all Centerparcs had mixed changing anyway? Certainly at Sherwood it's a free for all with cubicles available and the people in them could be single males, females or families changing in the same cubicle. I wasn't aware that they had separate male and female changing rooms, just toilets.

titchy · 29/11/2019 10:11

I wasn't aware that they had separate male and female changing rooms, just toilets.

They do in the spa.

TiredofthisBS · 29/11/2019 10:12

In both the Centreparcs I've visited the majority of the cubicles are mixed sex but there were two larger areas segregated for women and men. I used the women only area with my little one as did other women with young children as it was a larger space to get changed. No one batted an eyelid. I would not have been at all comfortable with if a male bodied person had been present.

spacepyramid · 29/11/2019 10:22

I've never been to the spa, nor did I notice the women only area but now it makes sense. I also wouldn't be happen with a man in the women only area (or a woman in a man only area for that matter).

Are we expected to say male bodied instead of man on MN now?

TiredofthisBS · 29/11/2019 10:28

I get confused what we can and can't say to be brutally honest. I know what I want to say but I don't want to get a slap on the wrist for saying the biological truth.

tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz · 29/11/2019 10:29

Girl please tell us specifically what is transphobic? Or do you actually mean "asking questions about the safety of girls and women?".

Why the F can't a born male respect the legal rights of girls and women to getting undressed safely and with dignity? Why do we have to feel uncomfortable so that person doesn't? Do you actually realise that you can have all male genitalia intact yo "legally transition"? Why should my 11 year old daughter get ready for swimming in a communal area and have a naked man i front of her, possibly when there is no other person in that room but them?

I am very aware neither you or any other person will answer but hey h0, add me to the Bigot List. Confused

Er wrong, there is no EA protection until you've legally transitioned.

If you're going to be a GF at least get your facts right.

tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz · 29/11/2019 10:32

Oh fellow Vipers ... we take the bait and engage every time, don't we?! Grin

TiredofthisBS · 29/11/2019 10:35

@tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz yes Grin. Remember we are a tiny part of cyberspace shouting into our little bubble that no one listens to despite the numerous attempts to shut us down and to stop us talking.

tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz · 29/11/2019 10:37

Smile yup and it's not us that do most of the grocery shopping either, oh no!

Screw you Flora. Still.

"Read and learn..."

Blimey, just a couple of posts in and already the wide-eyed "genuine conversation" veneer is slipping.

The screenshots are fairlylame so far, so you may need to come back and goad us some more. My money is on the "what about lesbians" angle.

spacepyramid · 29/11/2019 10:43

Will nobody think of the lesbians? Grin

Datun · 29/11/2019 10:43

That said, your advocating for a family-centred holiday company to be required to allow naked and intact adult males into changing rooms with little girls is very much noted.

Indeed. The indignant demands for a discussion that must be respectful, look arrogant, in the face of the sinister lack of respect elsewhere.

HumberHellraiser · 29/11/2019 10:44

Once someone gets a GRC/New Birth Certificate their legal sex identity is changed

This is wrong. There is no such thing as sex identity.

Michelleoftheresistance · 29/11/2019 10:58

If you want to line up the arrogance:

  • resurrecting a zombie thread, not reading any of it, demanding people come repeat the whole 140 posts to have the debate with them personally
  • insisting posters must be 'respectful' to them while they do this, by which they mean obediently repeat entire thread to them personally
  • tell posters to listen carefully and try to understand - having not listened or tried to understand one damn thing on a thread of 140 posts explaining in detail
  • totally ignore everything anyone says to them while demanding they are closely listened to
  • has clearly taken the tone that no one here is worth listening to or reading, they've just dropped by to enlighten the masses

I mean really, what else does a poster have to do to demonstrate the pointlessness of engaging?

GirlOnTheRoof · 29/11/2019 11:00

@HumberHellraiser
The GRC once issued allows the recipient to get a new Birth Certificate exactly the same as any other Birth Certificate with sex marker: Female.

HumberHellraiser · 29/11/2019 11:06

Wrong again Girl

Birth Certificates include a sex marker that can be male or female.

Or did you forget a GRC can also be issued to transmen?

HumberHellraiser · 29/11/2019 11:08

Now you can send me to pedants corner if you wish. However I do hate woolly thinking and lazy assumptions on this issue.

LongLiveThePenis · 29/11/2019 11:20

Hey, @GirlOnTheRoof, have you got any cousins with tragic tales to tell?
