Quite why this person wants to continue scoring own goals is the question. In search of the Genderist Premier League own goal record, perhaps?

Grin it's a good effort, but not even person of the match.

Just a quick update. I can confirm Vicky Hodges and Center Parcs had a very amicable conversation just before Christmas and the issue of changing room access for transgender customers was resolved. Center Parcs confirmed that they do have a private changing cubicle within the Aqua Sana, open plan, female changing room and that Vicky was more than welcome to use it and the changing room as she wishes to. Center Parcs also confirmed they are a fully inclusive organisation. I can also confirm that Vicky has now been to Center Parcs, used the changing room and she had a great weekend with her family.
How do I know all this? Well "GirlOnTheRoof" is Vicky Hodges... 💃🏻🙋🏻‍♀️💜

Sure you are.

Well done you for not caring about females boundaries and rights to dignity and privacy.

I am sure validation matters to you more. Sadly toxic Male behaviour includes railroading over others needs to gain their wants. I find that attitude disgusting.

theunknownknown · 25/01/2020 16:47

How very brave and stunning of you GirlOnTheRoof
I'm happy to see that your feelings override those of every single biological female (women and girls). As you have resurrected this thread, have you had time to let us have your definition of woman as asked many times?
And how pleasing to see how triumphant you sound Hmm
I guess toxic male behaviour shines through regardless of what clothes are worn.

theflushedzebra · 25/01/2020 16:58

What made Centreparcs change their minds from upholding women's single sex spaces, as was their original decision, to allowing a male-bodied transwoman to walk through the open plan women's changing area, and use female changing rooms, I wonder?

No privacy for women allowed, it seems.

VivaLeBeaver · 25/01/2020 17:01

Looks like next month's trip to CP will be my last one ever then. Shame as I tend to go a couple of times a year.

theunknownknown · 25/01/2020 17:05

Yes, Viva I was a regular CPer. No more.
If this is true, then their capitulation to this bollocks wokery disgusts me.

DuLANGMondeFOREVER · 25/01/2020 17:07

I will be screenshooting this and emailing a complaint.

Being female is a biological reality and not something you put on like a costume.

Single sex spaces exist for a reason, and it’s not to validate transgender people.

I have already emailed CP - will await their response - nothing on their website that I can find. If true, I suspect they have capitulated on this occasion hoping it will be a long time before this sort of issue raises it head again. How wrong they are.

SoldiersinPetticoats · 25/01/2020 17:19

Why aren’t women and girls allowed to have inclusive spaces? Why do they not have to include penises?

Why do TW need to invade women’s changing rooms? It’s utterly baffling to me why this is even an option in their minds.

I wish CP had stuck to their guns.

theunknownknown · 25/01/2020 17:41

validation of their feelz 5zeds
gaslighting, coercive behaviour, forcing other people to accept their 'reality' etc

DuLANGMondeFOREVER · 25/01/2020 17:48

Crikey, I got a deletion for talking about an ad that appeared on this thread. Inappropriate ads aren’t my fault, Mumsnet, they’re yours! Maybe check in with whoever is responsible for your algorithms? 😂

theflushedzebra · 25/01/2020 17:52

I expect CP were subjected to a barrage of Stonewall law type legal threats, until they relented.

CP should be aware that it would be quite legal to uphold their changing rooms as single sex female-only spaces, especially as they offered the transwoman in question a perfectly viable alternative. Provision is made in the Equality Act to exclude transwomen from women's spaces, when legitimate - and an open plan female changing would count as legitimate.

TimeLady · 25/01/2020 18:07

Perhaps all females should simply insist on using the private changing cubicle within the Aqua Sana, open plan, female changing room?

5zeds · 25/01/2020 18:07

@theunknownknown I too am excluded from female changing rooms/toilets fairly regularly because I am a female carer of a male disabled person. As far as I know no one has ever given a shit how that “feels”. I find the whole thing infuriating.

Thymelord · 25/01/2020 18:10

That is a shame. We usually go every year for a couple of short breaks. I'll not be going now. I hope they dont mind losing revenue at the expense of prioritising male bodied people.

Clymene · 25/01/2020 18:14

Oh well, that's the family visit to centre parcs over. I don't want to go anywhere where a male bodied person is allowed to walk through communal women's changing rooms when I am in a state of undress.

Siameasy · 25/01/2020 18:15

Oh dear-CP is very popular with families. I can’t see many being keen on winkle-owning adult strangers getting changed with little girls

Mayomaynot · 25/01/2020 18:24

Thanks for letting us know that TW are allowed to use the 'female changing rooms' in centre parks. That is very useful information for women to have when booking their future holidays. Cheers!
