TheHe RBL have repeatedly responded that Izzard is a long-term supporter of the armed forces.

Is he? I'm willing to stand corrected and will happily say so, but having seen him live quite a few times (not now, he gets on my pip with his 'boy genetics and girl genetics' nonsense) during the ninteies and early 2000s, I cannot recall him ever saying a word about it.

Eddie Izzard has done many shows raising money for military charities, including his 3 language show to commereate the 70th anniversary of D-Day. He raised half a million to help veterans attend the 65th anniversary D-Day celebrations. He is an honourary member of the Veterans of Normandy thanks to his charity work.

I fail to see what his gender identity has to do with his suitability to be a spokesperson for a charitable cause that he's passionate about. But for info, he identifies as transgender and uses both he and she pronouns, so no, this is not misgendering.

If you are supporting the bigotry and hatred shown on that Twitter feed, then you should be ashamed of yourselves. I struggle with a lot of the transgender agenda, but I'm not sure what Eddie is supposed to have done? Apart from raising money for charity and being incredibly funny.
