I was kicking myself that I didn’t know. I already knew about SWERFs. I didn’t know that TERFs and SWERFs went hand in hand. And I hadn’t looked into SWERFery as I didn’t want to know.

Oh yeah I saw that. I bet it has something to do with being told literally daily by TRAs that you are disgusting scum who belongs in the bin, less than human, trash, fascist, neo-nazi etc. I work in a job where my own colleagues regularly say stuff like that. They don’t know my views because I darent tell them but yeah it gets depressing being told that, even if you know deep down you’re right.

Not sure why it caused her such trauma though. I have not ever felt traumatised reading realist, radical feminist arguments based on material reality and committed to getting rid of gendered stereotypes.

Yes a quick scoot round the rest of her webpage reveals someone with some rather unusual views.

But for me it's always been about the practical consequences.

Do you put Karen White in a women's prison? (And if - as was done - you put White in a women's prison where he then goes on to sexually assault several of the female inmates, what do you say to those women in defence of your decision?)

Do you let transwomen with all the physiological advantages male puberty gives them compete in women's sport?

Do you say to a woman who's been raped and finds being around male bodies traumatising "No, you cannot look for or set up a women-only rape survivors' group to help you heal"?

Do you put a child who's expressed discomfort with their sexed body on puberty blockers then cross sex hormones?

My answer to all these questions is "no."

Beyond that, I don't really care. You want to believe in gendered souls? Fine. Knock yourself out. I don't share your belief, but beliefs themselves don't hurt people, it's the practical consequences of acting on beliefs that matter. You want to wear whatever you feel like? Crack on, I'm happy with that. You want to engage in activities and hobbies usually undertaken by the opposite sex? Also fine. I've spent over 50 years doing just that too (though I don't find I have to think of myself as male in order to do so).

I wish she'd see this thread and come to talk through why she disagrees with gender critical feminism. Somehow I can't see that happening though. It's all about emotion and repenting thought-sins.

That's sad to read, and the TRA friend she has thanking her underneath is the unavoidable twitterer, Grimwade.

Grimwade caused much amusement recently by twittering about experiencing "menaporsal" (sic) symptoms because too skint to buy dodgy illegal hormone patches for a few months. No doubt Pixie could empathise with that temporary menopause in your 20s as a when coming off cross sex hormones as this is perfectly normal gender non conforming stuff, eh? We should be encouraging our kids to consider this life course as "valid".
