This just came up in my FB feed.

Heart radio have decided that removing the 'female logo' from san pro is a step in the right direction.

I would love to know who decided this?

Most of the comments, though show lots of people think this is ridiculous.

Who decided this was a step in the right direction?

Bloody hell Upfield that's appalling.

Ok, I'm very, very up for reusable wear, this is where I work on finding out about.

I think the thing I am increasingly most angry about is being expected to pretend that someone isn't female because they say they aren't. I am very sympathetic that there are some people born female who don't want to call themselves women, who prefer to call themselves men, but when it goes this far I'm forced to the discourtesy of saying no. My limit is here. I'm sorry, but this is not real. You are still female, and I'm not willing to throw 51% of the population under the bus to enable you personally so that you don't have to face that reality. Female is a fact, not a choice, and there's a point this becomes profoundly selfish.

Therea quite an interested chat on interact parents chat in facebook, around the possibility of womb transplants for transwomen.

The woke brigade clearly dint know what they are talking about. One one wo.an arguing this will enable transwomen to become who they are and change sex. When it's been factually pointed out that you cant change sex, she cant come up with an argument to that so tried to turn it into 'this is about the ability to parent a child'. Its then been pointed out that it's not about that and you dont need have been pregnant and gone through child birth to be a parent. Dads manage it, foster parents, parents of adopted children etc.

Its very clear that lots of woke people dont know the difference between sex and gender.

But again, the majority of comments are against this.

I refuse to believe the packaging of a sanity product with a female symbol on it would be more reminding of the fact you are female than actually having a the period which requires the use of said product.

And why can't they just buy one of the many other non symboled brands available if the female symbol is so triggering?

Oh someone has just pulled the

"TWAW their brain waves are identical to that of people born women."

DuMondeB · 26/10/2019 15:56

Brain waves? 😂

Anotherlongdrive · 26/10/2019 16:14

Yeah. Brian waves. They went off about 40 mins ago to find the proof to these independent scientific studies and didnt come back. Cant think why. 🤷‍♀️

Womens brain waves are all the same?
Our brains are all the same?
Our thought processes, our internal lives?
Sexist fuckery.

Of course many men don't think women have internal lives or individual personalities as we are 3d caricatures that can be separated into types. Sexy. Mumsy. Bitchy. Etc

Anotherlongdrive · 26/10/2019 22:20

Yes we all have the same brain waves and transwomen have the same one.

Unfortunately, this was posted by a 2oman I would guess was in her early twenties. Not realising how sexist she is to her own sex, in a desperate attempt to appear as woke as possible

Hopefully, she spent the afternoon trying to find this scientific, factual study and realised that whoever told her that was talking bollocks and she looks into it all further.

I try to be optimistic.

Brain waves? Do they think we have microwaves in place of our heads? But, like, delicate feminine ones, with false eyelashes on?

Gizmo79 · 26/10/2019 22:58

NRTFT but, can’t we all call in to P&G proclaiming to be TM and say we don’t like the scented pads.
We can then get rid of those stinky items- cub quicker than us as mere women.....
Also, who thought we needed scented pads anyway? Never understood that.

ErrolTheDragon · 27/10/2019 01:26

can’t we all call in to P&G proclaiming to be TM and say we don’t like the scented pads.

Worth a try ... I don't know what scent they use but I assume it's meant to be 'feminine'?

Michelleoftheresistance · 27/10/2019 12:13

I'm willing to give it a go. I still think there will come a point where one of the best ways to resist this bullshit is for biological women to just proclaim their TM status en masse, while carrying on as normal. If it's just a case of change the word alone to shift one's status and the notice society takes (or to prove how utterly misogynistically stupid that is) then it's a no brainer.

Ali1cedowntherabbithole · 27/10/2019 13:01

If any transmen actually upset and triggered by the symbol they have my utmost sympathy. I would like to see them supported and hope they can be offered solutions including long acting contraceptives to alleviate their distress.

I see no reason for the remaining 99.9 % of women on the planet to be affected.

Of course it's probably not the TMs that are distressed, but another group looking for validation.

As an aside my spellcheck is objecting to transmen. Are they not worthy?

OnlyTheTitOfTheIceberg · 28/10/2019 11:39

As an aside my spellcheck is objecting to transmen.

My phone does the same with both 'transwoman/women' and 'transman/men'. Cynic that I am, I suspect this is yet more organisational capture and that whoever is responsible for programming the dictionary at Apple (in my case) has been persuaded that autocorrect should kick in to change 'transman' to 'trans man' et alia. TRAs object to the words being joined as it's all part of the 'TWAW/TMAM' language creep. If we have to use the word 'trans' at all, and they would much rather we didn't because of course TWAW/TMAM and therefore don't need it, then as they see it, it should be a separate descriptor in the same way we'd refer to a 'black woman' or a 'tall man'.
