This does not reflect the majority opinion of the SNP. Rhiannon got a grand total of 210 votes. Single Transferable Vote system means votes were transferred to candidates in stages from candidates with lowest votes. Rhiannon didn't 'win' until stage 5. Colette got the most votes, and would have been clear winner with FPTP.

This is a small clique within SNP driving things. Women (and men) in the SNP are starting to realise what's happened (finally) and are speaking out about it. The tide is turning on this. There's a Womens Pledge on the go, pledging to uphold women's rights as they stand in current law. It's got 2,500 signatures, and is now being widely circulated. I'm staying with the SNP, I think they generally do well for Scotland, and I was there before this woke crowd. I don't have a viable alternative to vote for, so I'd rather stay and help fix it.

I think we need to know what the definition of trans woman is from the SNP.

Someone with a GRA?

Someone non binary with a male body?

Phillip Bunce or Danielle Muscado? Gregor Murray?

Got to say, in terms of putting the kibosh on women's suffrage, engineering a situation where politically engaged women find themselves either unable to vote or on a ridiculous treadmill to uphold the very basis of their rights as a whole is quite a strategy. I don't think the fuckers planned it, because I think most bad situations come about through a combination of laziness, complacency and downright stupidity, but a planned disenfranchisement could hardly have been more effective.
