Is anyone following it? I just caught it at the end of woman's hour in my car this morning so dont know what it was called.

2 trans teens were dating, sharing how they came out etc. All dismissive of the yr 7 cou sellor who suggested they might be lesbian - said in reaponse to how they knew - it was the usual - football/trousers/playing with boys.

Blockers and top surgery werent a big deal - all seemed a seamless story through early teens...

In a way it seemed more dangerous than the debates as it narrates an easy trans experience as the norm, and anyone who disagreed as unreasonable.

Im not the most articulate in unpicking it so wondered if anyone else had heard it?

Fifth series?!

I’d LOVE to know how many listeners it gets. It’s so crap, regardless of the subject.

I didn't see that play umbel but remember there being a short thread about it:

Thanks Nauticant! Was beginning to think I'd imagined it.

Gaslighting indeed - did anyone notice the throwaway line, when Amy was having a go at her mum for putting condoms in her suitcase and complained that she hadn't put in a pregnancy test?! As Amy is biologically male, you might have expected her mum to say something along the lines of 'what possible use could that be to you?' but no, nothing...

Or laugh hysterically.

Oh that confused me - I thought the Mum was packing a suitcase for herself Confused

It's the point we are at, it's how the kids have been educated, Amy has been told that they are female and need to be treated the same as any other female.
The way Yaniv thinks in regards to this isn't an exception, it's the rule.
