However, the 'I need wider society to start doing their job' as stated by Bergdorf is breathtakingly arrogant. Who is Bergdorf to state what society should do (fulfil Bergdorf's fantasies, presumably)? Is Bergdorf a dictator now? Why is it our job anyway? Haven't we enough to do already, tippy toeing around your pronouns and other sensitivities?

Bergdorf knows what Bergdorf can do.

It's not my job as a member of society to protect Bergdorf's feelings or assist in maintaining Bergdorf's delusions.

Just as women have no place advocating for female reproductive rights at a women's march, we have our one job to do, making life easier and less annoying for MTF trans people like Bergdorf, however that may disadvantage us.

See, what always strikes me as disingenuous about this whole campaign is the dea that transwomen should not be subjected to funny looks, insults, prejudice or violence. Of course they shouldn't. But neither should women, and it's almost as if TRAs don't even realise that we do face that. Every say.

As do people of colour; religion; disability; age; every day every demographic of people are subjected to poor treatment from other people. Does Munroe not see that? Or believe that? Anyone would think it was only transgender people (well, let's face it, transwomen) who suffer.

As far as rights that the law can provide, transgender people have the same rights and protections as anyone else, so what are they campaigning for, exactly? If it is to be accepted and treated as women? Well guess what?! We get treated like shite too, and you will soon really understand that when all the women only spaces are replaced with unisex loos and changing rooms .......
