Oh no, that is terrible.

Such a magnificent woman.

R.I.P.

RaininSummer · 13/09/2019 10:57

Very sad news. Why so often are those who burn the brightest in the world made to leave it so soon?

AncientLights · 13/09/2019 10:59

What a shock: I never met her, I knew how ill she was but reading those words are still like a punch in the gut. Outrageous to die so young.

She is already much missed.

Leapyearlover · 13/09/2019 11:01

This is so sad. My condolences to all those who knew and loved her.

ScrimshawTheSecond · 13/09/2019 11:01

Flowers. I'm so sorry for her family, friends and loved ones.

AlwaysTawnyOwl · 13/09/2019 11:07

So very sorry. A huge loss.

ThePankhurstConnection · 13/09/2019 11:07

I have commented elsewhere but this is a great loss and she won't be forgotten. Sad

Gutting.

I'm glad it was peaceful and my heart goes out to her family and friends. I hope they can find some comfort in the fact she made such an impact on so many peoples lives in such a small amount of time - amazing woman.

Whatsnewpussyhat · 13/09/2019 11:13

Such an inspiration Flowers

Can we do something for her, to remember her? I mean we should all be more Magdalen everyday anyway, but a memorial of some kind. A donation campaign to support a charity she would have supported and donate in her name or just light a candle for her. I don't know, when someone loved passes its awful but to know how much they were loved, she had a huge impact on me, as she did on so many of us.

I'm sure her family know how we all love her so I just thought if there was a way we could as a group show that somehow I'd be up for that.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 13/09/2019 11:13

So very sorry to hear this. Condolences to all who knew her personally. A great loss.

Such a sad loss, the world seems very unfair right now.

wizbitismynizbit · 13/09/2019 11:22

Her life was cut tragically short but she did what few of us ever do- she made one hell of a difference.

RIP Magdalen.

LangCleg · 13/09/2019 11:25

Rest in power, Magdalen, you clever, funny, defiant woman.

Lots of love and warmth to her family and friends.

BooLooBoo · 13/09/2019 11:29

I'm not one of those people who is scared to talk about the gender debate in particular but I have no confidence in general. I was lucky to get to know Magdalen over a few months and she had so much confidence. She was the complete opposite to me. When I'm feeling like what I have to say isn't important or that nobody wants to listen, I think about her quite a lot and try to have a bit more faith in myself. She added something to the world. I hope that those who know and love her can find some comfort in knowing what a difference Magdalen made to so many people.

BooLooBoo · 13/09/2019 11:31

Oh Holy Jesus I love the idea of doing something like you suggested.

BooLooBoo · 13/09/2019 11:34

Doing something brave in her memory. I think she would like that.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 13/09/2019 11:34

What a terrible loss for all who knew and loved Magdalen. Her legacy is immense. Flowers

RubyViolet · 13/09/2019 11:40

Brave woman, what a loss for her family and friends.

Floomph · 13/09/2019 11:40

How very unfair. I'm so sad she has passed away. She's been remarkable and I won't ever forget her. I'm glad at least that she passed peacefully. What a loss.
