I'm going to a talk by Alice Roberts tomorrow, what should I ask her?

She's speaking at the British Science Festival tomorrow at Warwick University, I got myself a ticket only because there's been some controversy about things she's written/shared on Twitter. If there is an opportunity to ask her some questions after her talk ( which is about the perfect body, ironically), what do you think I should ask her? TBH I feel like standing up and asking her if I'm a woman, just to see what she says...

I know about the smile, what is it with the hair? Find it hard to name a TRA who isn't follically challenged.

Extremely strange comment. I don't know about anyone else, but I 'm not a homophobe and I don't care about whether someone shagging is 1 male & 1 female or not.

I'm somewhat suspicious of comments like these - most people here are not homophobes thanks.

Who cares what sex people shagging are, so long as it's consensual. Some of us are gay and lot's of us have gay kids.

I was rude about Birmingham in my post, but made no comment on the sexuality of its students: I’m not interested, they can shag who they want as long as they are both happy about it and not being coerced.

Alice thinks the OP is ‘stalkerish’.

My friend was stalked. Guy - who she’d briefly had a relationship with- broke into her house in the night. Smeared faeces on her walls. Sent her threatening letters. Battered on her door at night. Again and again. Shone lights in her windows. Called her incessantly. Disobeyed a restraining order. Bit like the OP really, Alice?

Alice is just showing that she has absolutely no idea what feminism is about. It’s a textbook example of how the TRA agenda is supported by people who are utterly ignorant of the reality of women’s lives. And who sneer at and belittle us.

I thought Alice was just silly. Looking at her comment, I think she hates women, and belittles violence against us. What a joke stalking is for her.

I think Alice Roberts has simply made a calculation of which power structures to support in order to benefit Alice Roberts.

Unfortunately in the process she makes herself look ridiculous and unpleasant.

The revulsion I felt that a woman with DSD has had to actually explain to Roberts in words of one syllable how their dismissal and reframing of their experience to prop up a very dodgy political agenda is not 'kindness' and plead with them to listen.... there's no excuse for Roberts there. None.

First question as a woman
Q1. What advise can you give me as woman to protect myself from the violence of men? – official Gov. statistics show that women are attacked by men more then women

Second question now that identify as a man
Q2. Can you now confirm that I do not need to worry about going out for mid night stroll alone or when alone in the top deck of bus at night that women would worry about doing?

If you are going with a man - you can get him to ask a questio as well

Man Q – I intend to identify as woman just for kicks and to purve on women in public bathrooms, can you (Prof Roberts) have any way of showing other women how to stop me doing this as when I want to?
