Voted against improving public transport
Voted for restricting legal aid
All these things do significant harm to women as a whole, especially poor or abused or lone parent women.
I am most definitely in agreement about many of the issues discussed on MN re the abuse by many tw of trans rights, but I struggle to balance the harm caused by the possibility of a man in a dress barging into the loos vs the permanent gnawing fear of having to choose between heating, food, or shoes for my child all while there is constant uncertainty over keeping a roof above my head
Not trying to be a GF, interested in views. I'll never vote Tory, I just couldn't. For me social issues trump trans concerns. I do despair of some of the Labour views though, also LD and Greens. I'm not sure who there is left to vote for. But never a Tory. IMO
