This article breaks all of MN rules but I hope it is still OK to post it. Please warn me if you think there's a problem. I want to avoid the naughty step this time around.
I won't quote directly from it as it consistently "misgenders" JY.

And JYs response to the Spectator article above is to threaten legal action 😂 I say go for it JY.

#1. I didn’t dox @ MsBlaireWhite and #2, I don’t use “sock puppets”
@ SpectatorUSA this article needs to be removed immediately or legal action WILL follow.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 23/08/2019 08:21

I do hope so. All the light of publicity it needs I think.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 23/08/2019 08:24

Who is their lawyer? I thought they represented themself?

GirlDownUnder · 23/08/2019 08:25

Just refer to as he. Simple. He’s a he

MN has recently deleted JY posts for misgendering - see www.mumsnet.com/Talk/womens_rights/3644495-fascinating-tweets-about-jy-s-waxing-case-read-here-cont-thread-2?msgid=89513947

And they’ll quote the sticky at the top of the board. I believe JY keeps up with the threads here and on KF. The monitors also like to report.

FermatsTheorem · 23/08/2019 08:27

Oh yes, please please take the Spectator to court. It's not like they won't have run this past their in house lawyers for an opinion pre publication, or that they could afford a really shit hot team of court room lawyers, or even that (given they're right of centre and pro free speech) they might even be rubbing their hands with glee at the thought of what a spat like this will do for their circulation figures.

What was that legendary Private Eye letter? Arkell v Pressdram? Bring it on. I'm settling in with the popcorn.

GirlDownUnder · 23/08/2019 08:28

Who is their lawyer? I thought they represented themself?

They pay CAD$20 a month for a ‘lawyer’ - basically a company that will send out standard cease and desist letters that scare off most people.

Otherwise they use the BCHRT which is fee to them as the complaintent hence the 16 waxing cases.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 23/08/2019 08:29

Well what do you call a human being with a penis? XY person? Maybe we stick with that.

So Fekkoxx
Beyoncéxx
Queen Elizabethxx
Yanivxy

Etc.

For those in doubt. SEX is -

“In this system, the sex of an individual is determined by a pair of sex chromosomes. Females typically have two of the same kind of sex chromosome (XX), and are called the homogametic sex. Males typically have two different kinds of sex chromosomes (XY), and are called the heterogametic sex.”

GirlDownUnder · 23/08/2019 08:31

And twitter says...

Why is "Jessica Yaniv" still harassing people on Twitter while our client Meghan Murphy was banned from Twitter for calling out Yaniv's predatory behavior against teen girls?

NotBadConsidering · 23/08/2019 08:31

Like I said, if a Monitor wants to report me, I want to see proof that Yaniv currently, as of this very minute, hasn’t changed his mind about his pronouns. He testified in court about having periods, so his fantastical mind is clearly fickle. Who knows where things are right now? If Yaniv himself is monitoring, it should be easy enough for MNHQ to email me evidence that he himself has complained. After all, wouldn’t want to offend a vile alleged paedophile, I’m sure MNHQ would be against such things Hmm.

Lamahaha · 23/08/2019 08:32

Sue, JY, sue!!!!
Peak trans the world!

OP posts:
FermatsTheorem · 23/08/2019 08:34

For someone who themselves chooses to ask about how to help pubescent girls insert their first tampon (speaking in general terms about such people, not specific individuals, natch), may I suggest that the appropriate pronouns are "perve" and "perveself"?

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 23/08/2019 08:34

Anyone else humming ‘feed the wo-orld’?

GirlDownUnder · 23/08/2019 08:35

Arkell v Pressdram

😂😂😂

StealthPolarBear · 23/08/2019 08:39

Not Bad Considering excellent points. Referring to JY as she on a Friday might be literal violence. You're absolutely right that if anyone is going to take issue with yaniv being referred to as he then they need to establish yanivs preferences at that exact moment.

Alltheprettyseahorses · 23/08/2019 08:42

Why is this male so powerful that he can compel women's speech to conform to his whims? I'm sure Boris Johnson, for example, doesn't like how he's referred to on social media but (rightly) no one's post would be deleted if he complained. Which even he must know he couldn't. Exactly why does JY have the privilege to force women to lie? The answer is: he doesn't. No one does. Let's speak the truth.

GirlDownUnder · 23/08/2019 08:49

I’m not the thread monitor, and I agree that pronouns are rohypnol,

MN sticky else risk the post or even the thread being pulled.

www.mumsnet.com/info/trans-rights-moderation-policy

Hopefully I’m wrong and all posts will stay.

HandsOffMyRights · 23/08/2019 08:54

Good. I'd like to see legal action. The Harrop and Hayden team maybe...

BernardBlacksWineIceLolly · 23/08/2019 09:04

I think because JY is a naughty trans person we're allowed to correctly sex him according to the topsy turvy rules MNHQ have tied themselves up in in a futile attempt to please people who want nothing less than total capitulation

happydappy2 · 23/08/2019 09:12

I’d prefer to use the term Male who identifies as trans. Is more accurate than transwoman.

hardyloveit · 23/08/2019 09:15

I've just watched one of blairwhites videos on YouTube - it's very disturbing that JY was organising a TOPLESS party for teens only - banned parents and carers! How the hell is this JY not in jail???
Blair made good points in one of her videos.
This whole situ is disgusting!

ArnoldWhatshisknickers · 23/08/2019 09:24

Which, in itself, shows the rules to be a mockery.

Yaniv may be a deeply unpleasant person, possibly a criminal person, but Yaniv has not actually been convicted of anything.

So why exactly are we allowed to correctly sex Yaniv but not, say, S Hayden who does have a conviction for violent thuggery?

Not suggesting anyone should be prevented from using correct sex pronouns about Yaniv but the lack of consistency is glaring.

(when I'm dictator in chief the right to use correct sex pronouns shall be enshrined in law)

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 23/08/2019 09:30
  • Man who says they are female
  • man who says/thinks they are a woman
  • Woman who says they are male
  • woman who says/thinks they are a man

Poor thing who doesn’t seem to know.

Sorted. Sex based reality plus ideas works rather well.

GirlDownUnder · 23/08/2019 09:33

Is this a for real? Have MN said this or are they just not deleting?

I think I’ve still some rolling within the time period strikes against me -but who can fucking tell, cos it’s not like I can check - so I’m (reluctantly) abiding my the rules.... else I’ll face the ban hammer 😬

Eustasiavye · 23/08/2019 09:34

Great article.

ArnoldWhatshisknickers · 23/08/2019 09:35

When I filled out the GRC consultations I studiously wrote 'men who identify as transwomen' and 'women who identify as transmen' every single time.

It was tedious as fuck to have to do so but I wanted to stress the sex of the people concerned.

I also wrote 'sex, as determined at conception, as observed at birth, as is immutable, unchangeable and can never be identified in to or out of' every single time.

I'm annoying like that.
