Just saw this and thought some people here would be interested. It's sad news but it sounds like Magdalen is being well supported.

Wholly inadequate Flowers for Magdalen, her family and friends and a heart felt thank you for your strength, courage and hard work in highlighting the issues of trans ideology and its impact on women's rights.

This is awful news.
Magdalen's courage, humour, creativity and bravery should never be forgotten.
She has been the sunlight needed to bring the reality of this bullshit to the attention of many women.
We owe her a massive debt.
We will win, we have to. But our fight will be so much harder without the legend that is Magdalen Berns on our side. Flowers

I'm really sad to hear this. As many have said already Magdalen''s bravery in speaking out has inspired a whole movement of women. I hope she and her family and friends find peace. She leaves an exceptional legacy.

Magdalen you are amazing. Smart. Brave. Honest. Even though we are in times where honesty gets you into trouble.

The thing I always come back to is in her Stonewall riposte; something about asking why women have to make room for men? Why can't men just stop being dicks to other men who like dressing and acting differently? And in the intersectionality/everydayfeminism response; why are women expected to solve ALL the problems?

It really reframed the way I saw well-meaning liberalism as being actually patriarchal norms just playing out in this new arena.

Such sad news. Like others I was hoping for a miracle. Magdalen is such a brilliant critical thinker, and a gifted communicator- made me realise what was going on, and gave me the beginnings of language to articulate my thoughts. Much love to her and her family.

Oh no. I am so so sorry. I feel furious for her, her family and friends. Her sharp thinking and wit has touched so many people, she’s obviously an absolutely amazing young woman. Saying anything seems pointless because it’s all so inadequate but I couldn’t read this and not post.
