Excellent, good to see pronouns being thrown out the window. People are becoming more aware, but it needs petitions to the governing bodies to make a real change.

No one's questioning McKinnon's right to race, it's a question of the 'right' to take up a space in an alternative sex grouping that McKinnon does not belong to. Because McKinnon wants to. Without McKinnon owning the biology that defines that sex class which renders it an unfair competition. In McKinnon's favour. Which spits on the 'rights' of every actual member of that sex class.

Could we persuade an elite male cycling club to enter all its members in a high profile women’s race, claiming that they identify as women for the day? And ensure max publicity when they take all three podium places, to really spotlight how awful this destruction of women’s sport is?

Funnily enough RMcK only ever seems to quote or ‘mock’ stuff from MN. A predominately woman based site. Odd that.

They missed out on "predatory" in that description of the fox.

Are we allowed to use pronouns we feel appropriate for a burly, hefty individual, double the size and muscular mass, and of clearly different body shape than the women cyclists? Because I do not feel uncomfortable identifying such individual with "she/hers".

I suspect that the nonbinary women (does that mean women who don't conform to gender norms?) will come last in every outing, and quickly lose interest.

Sorry I do not mean to derail but genuine question: why are we forced to use pronouns we dot agree with, or where there is evidence of the contrary? My work is evidence based, in simple words, if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, why am I forced to say it's a swan because they say so? This is where dogma and the inquisition begins.
