MN Feminism chat not appearing in google search results

Just thought I'd mention it...

Usually find my way here by googling "mumsnet feminism". First link pointed to Feminism Chat.
Now even googling "mumsnet feminism chat" doesn't return the result.
(I'm not signed in on my browser or anything else I can think of that would affect it.)

MNHQ would you have any comments on this? It does seem odd-thanks

Posted on the other thread but posting here too. Same as so many others. Just used to google Mumsnet Feminism and I was straight here at Feminism Chat. Now get offered various threads (some deleted), Flouncers Corner and Feminist Activism. Someone, somewhere, has decided they want to made it more difficult to find this messageboard.

Duck Duck Go still sends you straight here, so now adopting that as my main search engine. Just one more demonstration of how women's right to communicate freely is being reined in. Google, Twitter, we see you. We're half the population. There will be a backlash.

In July, we were celebrating the large increase in visits to Mumsnet that entered via the FWR board. People noted this made the board important to Mumsnet.

Were many of these through Google? Will this lead/has this led to a drop in visitors via the board?

Now, less than a month later, we see a Google change. Is it a Google-wide change? Or is it a small change that just affected Mumsnet? I've not noticed it with any other sites.

Yes, even if we all switch to Duck Duck Go, the majority of the country still use Google...

I just tried this on my iPad - first result sends me straight to the feminist chat board on the app but all the other links are to (old) MN threads complaining about transphobia, and to posts from MRA

I don't normally access the board that way - it's in my favourite topics on the app. But something is very wrong.

Very weird and slightly disturbing.

At the bottom of page 1 with Google search (no one goes beyond page 1) I get a link to a Vice article titled, 'Mumsnet: The UK forum for moms where feminism can mean transphobia'. Dated 6 December.

Well, suddenly, it's all come right for me! So maybe it was something Mumsnet had done?

Aha, yes, FWR chat is now top of the search results again.

All the results are different, not just the top one. How would MNHQ make that change so fast? It must have been a Google thing surely?
